In the role-playing game titled Elden Ring Nightreign, you’ll find yourself landing on a sprawling map filled with adversaries for combat. To triumph over the Night Lords across the three days, it’s advisable to explore numerous locations for armaments and enhancements.

Among the numerous destinations that could aid you on your quest to resist the Night, churches stand out as one of them. They often contain Elden Ring Nightreign artifacts, which provide additional health restoration, and occasionally host Non-Player Characters for engaging interactions.

Churches in Elden Ring Nightreign

Churches are structures with towers, often marked on maps by a golden icon. Many of these ancient churches, especially those in ruins, do not take long to explore because they’re mostly collapsed. Inside, you may find containers holding various items, but the primary reason for visiting is usually the small altar next to a statue. Interacting with this altar will replenish your Flask of Crimson Tears, an item used for healing, often referred to as an Estus Flask in games such as Dark Souls and Elden Ring.

When you click on the menu button while focusing on the map, it will display markers from Elden Ring Nightreign for nearby locations at the church. These markers might show a Flask of the Crimson Tear symbol or a Merchant icon if there’s an NPC selling goods nearby. As tranquil spots amidst the game’s fast-paced action, churches offer beneficial features like a merchant, healing item refills, and occasional additional items. So, when you have the opportunity, visiting churches can be quite advantageous in your journey.

Potential Locations of Churches in Elden Ring Nightreign

In the game Nightreign, there are eleven locations where you can spot churches across both team and solo play maps. These locations are indicated by an ‘X’ on the provided map below. Note that each map features between three to four of these church sites.

In some instances, there are a few special cases to consider. If your Nightreign Shifting Earth ability is activated, you’ll find a mountain in that spot, and no churches can be built on or near it. On the other hand, if a volcano’s crater shows up on your map, it will ensure a church location, and this church will always be situated in the upper-middle part of the map, right where the crater is located, as illustrated below.
