As you traverse the ever-changing landscapes of Tainted Grail: The Fall Of Avalon, you frequently encounter individuals grappling with various predicaments. Here you will find a small camp, and as soon as you approach it, you will be stopped by two guards.

As I tread through this land, these guards might mistake me for one of their tormentors – the ruffians who’ve caused them trouble. But once they take a second look, they’ll see I’m merely an innocent traveler passing by.

It’s at this point they might realize that perhaps you could assist them in revealing the one who’s been sabotaging, thus shedding light on the enigma surrounding this individual.

How To Complete Tightening The Screws Quest

At the encampment, you’ll find several individuals open for conversation to help you understand the circumstances better. However, it’s essential that you seek out Mervyn, who will typically be stationed close to the campfire.

Following his mix-up with someone else, opt for the initial dialogue choice to discover details about the thugs’ secret hideout. Upon concluding your conversation, you’ll uncover the location of the cave, nestled just to the east of the camp.

Navigate towards that location, and upon arrival, you’ll spot the entrance to the cave right at the rock’s edge. Once you’re there, step inside.

The cave is filled with enemies, so you need to make sure you deal with them.

Move towards the cave’s exit, where you’ll encounter the bandit camp. Take care of them when you get there. Once that task is done, search for a table in the same location.

On it, you’ll find a letter referred to as “Letter Written in Coal.” Retrieve this letter, and doing so will fulfill the task necessary for proceeding with the subsequent one, which is titled “Burdening Letter.”

On there, you’ll see a letter known as “The Coal-Written Letter.” Grabbing it will finish the task leading up to the next one called “Heavy Letter.
