On Wednesday, a fresh trailer for the next installment of “Dr. Stone: Science Future” was unveiled, giving insights into the team, cast, as well as the opening and closing theme songs for the upcoming second season. The second phase of “Dr. Stone: Science Future” is due to air on July 10. This new trailer offers a sneak peek at the new opening theme tune titled “SUPERNOVA,” sung by KANA-BOON, as well as the closing theme song, “no man’s world,” performed by -otoha-.
The fourth season of “Dr. Stone” anime is called “Science Future,” and it continues the storyline from “Dr. Stone: New World.” This is the concluding part of the entire “Dr. Stone” anime series.

In six months from now, the second season of “Dr. Stone: Science Future” will air, following its debut during the Winter 2025 anime season. This new installment will span over 12 episodes. Prior to the unveiling of the most recent trailer, some fresh faces have been added to the cast for the upcoming season.

- Hiroki Yasumoto (Yasutora “Chad” Sado, BLEACH) as Brody
- Kenji Nojima (Tuxedo Mask, Sailor Moon: Crystal) as Dr. Xeno
- Kōji Yusa (Ayumu Tōjō, Gintama) as Stanley Snyder
- Mariko Higashiuchi (Black Canary, Justice League x RWBY: Super Heroes and Huntsmen Part Two) as Maya
- Taishi Murata (Eiichiro Maruo, Baby Steps) as Max
In the team behind this anime, Shūhei Matsushita, who was an animation supervisor on “Flowers of Evil”, serves as the director. The series composition is by Kurasumi Sunayama, known for scripting “Yowamushi Pedal”. Character designs are handled by Yuko Iwasa, who has previously worked on “Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas”. Art direction is overseen by Shunichirō Yoshihara. Tomoyuki Aoki and Fusako Nakao are in charge of art setting and color design respectively. Lastly, Jin Aketagawa takes on the role of sound director.
The music for the show will include the skills of Hiroaki Tsutsumi, the composer for both “JUJUTSU KAISEN” and “Tokyo Revengers”, along with Tatsuya Katō known for “Food Wars!” and Yuki Kanesaka from “Blood Blockade Battlefront”. The first season of “Dr. Stone” aired in July 2019, with the second season, titled “Dr. Stone: Stone Wars”, airing in January 2021. The third season, “New World”, premiered in April 2023, and “Science Future Part 1” was released earlier this year. This anime is an adaptation of a manga created through the collaboration of Riichirō Inagaki, author of “Eyeshield 21” and “One Punch Man”, and Korean mangaka Boichi. They have recently started a new series called “The Marshal King”.
The upcoming second cours of Dr. Stone: Science Future is set to premiere on July 10.
