But with MindsEye, it’s not just about the usual risks of game development. This project dared to envision a near-future America, blending realistic sci-fi, grounded futurism, and a narrative revolving around Big Tech and Big Government. Ideas for this game were conceived years ago, but today, it’s striking how closely our vision of the near future has come to pass. Robots are being mass-produced worldwide, AI is ubiquitous, and drones? They’re both military tools and popular consumer devices. It’s as if we’ve peered into a crystal ball and seen our own present.
MindsEye made a daring move, and the development team behind Rocket Boy may not have anticipated how swiftly their creation would become so lifelike. This unexpected speed turned out to be one of the game’s strengths in the action-adventure genre. Furthermore, MindsEye offers a threefold experience.
