One of its early strategies was loosening content regulations, providing streamers with more liberty than they were accustomed to on Twitch. Additionally, Kick made waves by announcing significantly higher payouts, which helped attract prominent streamers at the outset. Adin Ross was among the first big-name streamers to join Kick, and subsequently, others like xQc and Amouranth followed suit.

Recently,Asmongold became the latest popular streamer to join Kick, and the money he made was impressive. He showed viewers a side-by-side look at how much he earned on both platforms using his real-time data. Between May 6 and June 4, he streamed almost 211 hours on Twitch, including almost two hours of ads, and made about $32,371 from ads and subscriptions. In contrast, his first two streams on Kick, each lasting around six to seven hours, brought in an estimated $36,910. He earned $19,703 on June 2 and another $17,207 on June 3.

Asmongold’s Twitch vs Kick Earnings

From two sessions alone, the substantial income stood out starkly, showcasing Asmongold’s surprise at the unanticipated results. For a content creator with a massive following, such earnings might make other streamers reconsider their streaming platforms. It isn’t the first time Kick’s payouts have garnered attention. Back in May 2025, Adin Ross disclosed that he made approximately $500,000 from only 16 streams in a single month, and this figure did not account for his subscriptions or sponsorship agreements.

Instead of emphasizing solely on payments, the platform Kick is also working on enhancing streaming experiences by introducing new features. One such recent addition is multistreaming support, enabling content producers to broadcast across various platforms concurrently.
