Get S Rank In The First Board
Initially, your goal is to achieve an S Rank in the first board. Here’s a simpler way to reach that:
1. Start by working towards a T Rank by accumulating 1,500 points through persistent gameplay.
2. Once you have achieved the T Rank, focus on gathering all four keys and devote your attention to the cooking mini-game.
3. It might take several attempts, but eventually, you should be able to finish the board with an S Rank.
After that, make your way to the Green Room, where you can now enter the S Rank special room. In there, you’ll spot an NPC on the left side of the room who will allow you access to the backstage area. Navigate your way to the backstage, where a mini-game awaits. The objective in this mini-game is to search for the sword first and then employ it against the enemies. Gradually increase your level by gathering EXP through this process.
To progress, advance to level three so you can trim the cacti and move towards the right side. As you ascend slightly, you’ll gain the ability to fell trees. Continue felling trees and journey towards the forest until you find the Ice Key. Once found, grab the Ice Key as it is essential for obtaining the Shadow Mantle.
Get S Rank In The Second Board
Once you acquire the Ice key, the mini-game will conclude. Then, depart from the backstage and proceed towards the second stage. Just like the initial stage, an S Rank is required here as well. To achieve a total S Rank, you’ll need to gather all four photos on this stage, participate in the concert mini-game, and consume moss.
Play Mini-Games Again
Once you’ve completed your business with the Board, head back to the top-tier exclusive room and begin enjoying the console mini-game. This mini-game resembles the first one; you need to accumulate levels and advance by overcoming opponents.
In due course, you’ll come across a raft that requires you to navigate towards freezing waters in the north. Once you disembark, follow the trail leading into a temple. Inside this sanctuary, you’ll encounter numerous adversaries until you locate the White Cloak. With this cloak, your attacks will now unleash icy barrages on enemies that were previously resistant to such damage.
Get The Shelter Key
Keep going on your path until you come across a locked door. Use the Ice Key to unlock it, and you’ll step into a dimly lit area. In here, take notice of a shimmering item. Engage with it to obtain the Shelter Key.
After retrieving the Shelter Key, depart from the mini-game and return to the Green Room. There, you’ll gain access to the special room reserved for S Rank players, where you can complete the final level to obtain the Shadow Mantle.

This valuable artifact will aid you in your quest to vanquish the Roaring Knight.
How To Beat The Roaring Knight Secret Boss In Deltarune
As a seasoned gamer, I’d recommend slapping that Shadow Mantle onto Susie here. She’s the one who’ll reap the biggest benefits from it. Now, let’s dive back into our game, firing up the old save to square off against Roaring Knight first.
Roaring Knight has five major attacks:
