How to Unlock Mounts in Fantasy Life i

Complete “Find a Ride”

Once you’ve finished Chapter 1, which brings you back to the present, you’ll gain access to mounts. Then, you’ll meet up with Edward and delve into parts of the Depths. Subsequently, an event will transpire that whisks you away to a fresh location known as Ginormosia.

To reach your destination, keep an eye out for indicators of the main mission. Eventually, you’ll encounter a vast sandy expanse that’s impassable on foot. At that point, help a merchant boss named Boorbear by providing him with one Soothing Water item. Upon completing this task, you’ll be rewarded with your initial mount – a camel.

Once you’ve unleashed the camel riding privilege, you’ll have the opportunity to amass various mounts. In case you’ve purchased the Digital Deluxe Package, an additional reward – the Mini Napdragon – will be yours as well.

Mount Controls in Fantasy Life i

To bring out your steed, press L1/LB/L. If you attempt to summon your horse in an area where they aren’t allowed, a horse icon with a ‘no entry’ symbol will appear above your character. Typically, you won’t be able to use your mount inside buildings or caves. Also, you can’t ride your horse while swimming.

In this game, the controls remain consistent whether or not you have a mount. The sprint/dash, jump functions stay unchanged. You can easily dismount by pressing the action/attack key associated with your equipped Combat Life.
