To ensure readiness for the harsh environment of Arrakis, follow these steps: hydrate yourself, amass medical supplies and bullets, ensure gear repairs are in order, and create space in your pack for potential new acquisitions.

It’s not fun to have to return to a place where you were defeated to gather your belongings, and it can significantly hinder your advance, especially if a sandworm catches you. Therefore, take a moment to ready yourself, and you’ll be well on your way to mastering the dunes.

Beware of Sandworms

Gargantuan Sandworms, who seem invincible, lurk beneath the sands and can engulf you entirely. While traversing vast stretches of the desert, you’ll observe a sand vibration sensor that indicates your level of noise. If you linger in the open for too long, a Sandworm will emerge to attack, and succumbing to one means losing all the items you are carrying.

It’s best if you can stick near the rocks most of the time, and when traversing open areas, seek out routes that minimize your exposure for extended periods. Avoid rushing or leaping, as such actions tend to generate more noise, which might draw sandworms towards your whereabouts at a quicker pace.

Resources reappear following extraction, making it advantageous to establish an initial base near Points of Interest (POIs) for combat experience and loot, areas where resources naturally spawn, as well as a trading hub.

Locating the ideal place to establish a residence can be quite challenging, particularly when it involves navigating a landscape teeming with colossal worms resembling Godzilla. Shigawire Sandbike Combo

In Dune: Awakening, you can acquire separate bike components either by raiding Imperial Testing Stations or purchasing them at trading posts from merchants. Construct a welder using your base’s fabricator, and then utilize it to hand-assemble your Sandbike. This will significantly reduce your travel time and make the process of gathering exploration experience more efficient, which is among the quickest methods for leveling up in Dune: Awakening.
