Discovering one of Castle Town’s hidden gems in Deltarune Chapter 4 involves a closed door labeled “Mike.” If you successfully open this door, you will eventually encounter the elusive Secret Boss, Motormouth Mike. Here is a comprehensive guide on locating and defeating Motormouth Mike, as well as the prizes you can earn:
1. First, travel to Castle Town.
2. Once there, explore the area thoroughly until you find a house with a closed door labeled “Mike.”
3. Interact with the door and try to open it; if you have the correct key or solution, it will unlock.
4. Defeat Motormouth Mike in battle to complete your quest.
5. As a reward for your efforts, you’ll receive various items and potentially valuable upgrades for your characters.
How To Find Motormouth Mike Secret Boss
After deciphering and inputting the correct sequence, you’ll access Motormouth Mike’s room in Castle Town. The code to unlock the door is related to the letters M-I-K-E on a phone keypad: M (6), I (4), K (5), E (3). So, start by heading to Mike’s Room first, then input the number 6543 to solve the puzzle and gain entry.
Enter Mike’s Room And Pet The Cat Statue
Once you’ve opened the door and stepped inside, you’ll notice a row of identical statues. Continue moving towards the left, and you’ll come across a distinctive statue – it has cat ears and whiskers. Interacting with this statue allows you to give it a gentle pat.
Proceed all the way to the far end of Mike’s room, and you will encounter a statue that resembles one you’ve petted before.
Get The Mouse Arm
At the base of this statue, you’ll notice a timid mouse who appears scared of it. By gently stroking the statue, it vanishes mysteriously. Following this, the mouse will metamorphose into an extended arm to assist you later on.
Currently, you’re able to grab items previously out of reach thanks to this mechanical arm. Return to the tall cat statue that previously obstructed your way. Gently touch the statues with your hand, and they will vanish. As a result, the obstacle will be removed, allowing you to advance along this path until its end.
Find the Motormouth Mike Secret Boss

Towards the conclusion, you’ll stumble upon a crystal ball resembling a microphone and another door labeled “Mike”. Open this door to step into a dimly lit chamber. A conversation will initiate: “‘What on earth are you up to in here?!’“.
Following several conversations, it’s Mike who declares confidently, “I am the genuine Mike here.” Subsequently, you’ll engage in combat with the elusive secret boss, Motor Mouth Mike.
How To Beat Motormouth Mike Secret Boss
To defeat the enigmatic secret boss, Motormouth Mike, it’s crucial to grasp the distinctive mechanics of the combat encounter. On the left side of your screen, you’ll notice a volume bar, which serves as a useful guide for navigating the battle.
Fight The Motormouth Mike

During applause scenes, the sound level will reach its maximum, so you’ll need to remain alert. When the word “Shut Up” appears on the screen, the volume will be muted, and you should stay low. Whenever the screen indicates Normal Volume, you’ll have to avoid microphones coming from above and below.
Fight The Cat Mike

In the following stage of the battle, a foe resembling a cat will emerge. This time, the mouse’s paw will be useful to you. Many cats will pop up on your screen, which you can stroke using the mouse’s paw.
Fight The Bigmouth Mike

Following your victory in the second round, you’ll encounter Bigmouth Mike in combat. This time around, be prepared to evade swift cat paws during the battle. After giving this Mike a few pats, all three Mikes will simultaneously appear, requiring you to engage them all in a fight.
On your computer monitor, a basket filled with kittens becomes visible. You’ll need to guide your mouse hand to transport the distinctively blue-colored parent cat into this container. Other cats on the screen will be white in color. After some time passes, the three microphones will converge, signaling the commencement of the final showdown.
Fight The Merged Mike

Once you’ve petted the combined character named Mike a couple of times, the fight will conclude, as the other two adversaries besides Motormouth Mike will retreat. They might seem like distinct opponents, and a series of dialogues will follow.
In simple terms, Motor Mouth Mike will disclose that none of these individuals are truly Mike, but rather they manage Mike’s virtual space. It turns out that Mike himself has never been present here, and no one has any idea who he might be. When Motor Mouth declares that it doesn’t matter who Mike is, as long as everyone acts like Mike, all of them will depart the screen.
Rewards For Beating Motormouth Mike Secret Boss

Although there’s no specific prize for victory in this battle, you’ll get a chance to enjoy three entertaining mini-games with each of the three Mikes following the fight. Afterward, you’ll need to revisit Mike’s Room and choose which mini-game you prefer playing.
Mike | Mini Game |
---|---|
Pluey | Pick up the blue parent cats and bring them to the basket for their kittens. Dodge the falling white raindrops. |
Jongler | Use the mouse arm to throw the cats on your screen into the red circle area. |
Battat | Hit all the cats with your mouse arm as you continuously move towards the right. Bonus points if you hit green cats. |
Down in the lower right corner, there’s a cool black bomb symbol named Michael Bomb. If you ever feel like starting those mini-games from scratch, just click on this little guy and watch as your score resets back to zero.
