The upcoming game from EA Sports, F1 25, is set to bring significant changes to the series, particularly in how the My Team mode operates. Players can anticipate a much more engaging and vibrant experience with the modifications in F1 25, and there’s plenty to get excited about!
This year, we can expect the latest addition to EA Sports’ renowned F1 series, featuring their popular racing games. Just like every game in their library, F1 25 will introduce fresh features and updates to enhance the gaming experience. One exciting innovation is an upgraded version of the My Team system, labeled as ‘2.0’, giving players an unprecedented level of control over a racing team.
F1 25’s Changes To My Team And Careers Explained
Driver Ownership Changes
The upcoming F1 25 game promises a more immersive and intricate My Team experience compared to its predecessors. Instead of playing as an Owner-Driver, players will assume the role of an Owner, overseeing the careers of two drivers instead of one. This shift necessitates more nuanced decision-making, as you’ll need to balance the competing interests of both drivers.
A fresh addition is the Owner Perks system, which enables players to focus on one of three areas (Engineering, Corporate, or Personnel) to create a manager persona tailored to their preference. This enhances the authenticity and realism of the gameplay experience.
In the upcoming F1 25, there are two significant additions: Fan Rating and Contract systems. As team managers, it’s crucial to keep an eye on fan opinions about your team and to skillfully manage driver perceptions during contract negotiations. Additionally, players will have access to a personalized Team HQ environment which they can customize according to their preferences throughout the game. A revamped Facilities improvements system brings more detailed upgrade options, control over workforce size, and introduces a new set of Facility Heads.
Updated R&D And Sponsor Systems
In the updated version of F1’s My Team mode, there’s a fresh twist on sponsor and research & development (R&D) elements. The R&D segment will be divided into separate systems, with the Development system being expanded to offer a more distinctive experience. Players will now need to design upgrades as tangible parts, and choose how an upgrade is developed, as well as which driver receives the upgrade if one upgrade fails. This decision-making process influences other aspects, such as those controlling how drivers view the player’s management style.
In EA Sports’ F1 25, sponsorships are set for an exciting revamp. Players can now foster long-term connections with their sponsors and engage in Sponsor Loyalty interactions. Additionally, the game will introduce unique backgrounds and core values associated with sponsors, leading to fresh event types. By nurturing a solid bond with a sponsor, players will gradually unlock various cosmetic upgrades.
In addition to these modifications, you’ll find some adjustments to driver emblems in F1 25. This new version will introduce fictional drivers, F3 drivers, Esports drivers, and others, giving players the ability to selectively show or hide these new symbols on AI teams. For the first time, AI teams can now recruit these icons as well. Moreover, players have the option to include an extra team, Konnersport from Braking Point, in the lineup of twelve teams.
