As a dedicated Xbox gamer with countless hours spent on my console, I can’t help but feel elated by the recent news that over 60 Xbox games have received updates adding new achievements and a hefty dose of Gamerscore. The excitement in the Xbox community is palpable, as many of us are still committed to boosting our Gamerscores whenever possible.

Approximately 60 Xbox games have been enhanced with over 2,000 new achievable feats, boosting the potential Gamerscore for players. Since the introduction of Xbox 360, achievements have served as an engaging supplementary pastime for numerous Xbox enthusiasts and a major preoccupation for dedicated achievement seekers.

Many Xbox fans were content with the achievement system during the Xbox One era and into the present console generation. however, some have expressed a desire for an update. The Platinum trophies on PlayStation, which recognize players for collecting all other achievements in a game, have sparked discussions among Xbox users. Some hope that Xbox will introduce a similar system. Although there have been hints from Xbox about possible changes, the achievement system has remained unaltered.

Some game studios are providing Xbox players with additional ways to increase their Gamerscores in previously released indie games. According to PureXbox, approximately 60 small titles have received updates, granting an extra 1,000 Gamerscore points, totaling 2,000 per game. The new achievements are uncomplicated, often requiring players to only advance through the game.
