A leaked listing has revealed a new Konami game in development for the upcoming Switch 2. While several modern titles are confirmed for the new console, demonstrating its power, this particular game stands out because of its unique nature.
Konami had a successful 2025, largely thanks to bringing back some older, forgotten game series. Throughout the year, they released Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, Suikoden I & II HD Remaster, and Silent Hill f – a completely new Silent Hill game after a long hiatus. They also launched the Silent Hill 2 remake on Xbox Series consoles. Interestingly, this new remake feels separate from Konami’s other recent releases.
New Konami Game Revealed by ESRB Listings
Okay, so this is super exciting! It looks like Konami is working on a new game called Enchanted Wonderland! We found out about it through the ESRB, and honestly, that’s a pretty solid source. They usually only list games after they’ve actually looked at the content, so it seems pretty safe to say this game is real and probably getting ready to be fully announced soon. I’m really hoping we get a trailer or some gameplay footage any day now!
Rated E for Everyone, Enchanted Wonderland is an adventure game where players explore a magical world and complete quests to bring happiness back to a theme park. Gameplay includes interacting with characters, learning spells, and playing mini-games based on theme park rides – like one where you shoot UFOs. The game also features a multiplayer aspect, allowing players to interact with each other.
Surprisingly, Konami hadn’t shared any information about this game until now, and we don’t know when they’ll officially announce it. Currently, it’s only been rated for the Nintendo Switch, which suggests it might be exclusive to that console. If so, we could see it revealed during the next Nintendo Direct presentation. Because the game has already received a rating, there’s also a possibility it could be released on the same day it’s announced – though this is just a guess at this point.
If Konami announces their new game, Enchanted Wonderland, at the next Nintendo Direct presentation, it could be a while before we hear much more about it. Nintendo Direct events have been happening later in the year recently – February in 2023, February 21st in 2024, and finally March 27th in 2025, which disappointed many fans. The 2025 delay was likely due to Nintendo preparing to reveal the Switch 2. So, don’t expect any further news from Nintendo, at least until January is over.
Although Konami’s new theme park adventure game might have surprised fans, it’s just one of several projects the company is working on. Another family-friendly game, Darwin’s Paradox, is planned for release in 2026. Leaks also suggest that the next Silent Hill game, Silent Hill: Townfall, could arrive in 2026 as well. Konami seems to be aiming to release a new Silent Hill game every year, which is great news for fans of survival horror.
