According to a recent report from Deadline, it appears that Michael Sarnoski has been chosen as both the director and writer for the live-action adaptation of Hideo Kojima’s video game Death Stranding. Sarnoski gained prominence following his film ‘Pig’, which starred Nicolas Cage. Following this success, he went on to direct ‘A Quiet Place: Day One’, earning over $250 million globally.
The announcement of the Death Stranding film collaboration between Hideo Kojima and film studio A24 was made in 2022. Specific details about the movie are yet to be revealed, but Kojima has expressed his intention to create a more art-focused production for the film.
