A Sliding Bug is Causing Players to Have Horrible Aim in The Battlefield 6 Beta

During the Battlefield 6 Beta testing, a glitch, which resembles a sliding movement, has been identified as causing numerous players to struggle with accurate targeting.

Are you finding your shots off target or visuals blurry in the Battlefield 6 Beta without a clear cause? It might be due to the sliding mechanic.

Initially, the problem was identified by Shroud. Later on, content creator Exclusive Ace delved deeper into the issue and explained it step-by-step, along with providing a solution, in one of his videos.

In simpler terms, when a player’s slide is interrupted or stopped early in the game due to certain actions, they’ll still receive the visual effect associated with sliding (known as ‘bloom’). This implies that whether a player is standing still, crouching, or engaged in other activities, the sliding calculations will always produce the bloom effect for them.

As a gamer, navigating out of that tricky situation feels like a breeze! Just hold on for an unbroken glide, and voila! Your aim will be back to its usual precision.

At this stage, it appears that the developers might not be able to resolve the bug before the conclusion of the Beta testing. However, given its nature, it should be a straightforward issue to rectify by the time the game officially launches on October 20, 2025.

The Battlefield 6 Beta officially ends in the early hours of Monday, August 18th.
