For those who are human, the Flamethrower may seem too extreme an option, better left unused except in certain situations. However, against infected creatures such as Clickers and Bloaters, it proves particularly effective, causing them great harm. Yet, it’s important to remember that this powerful weapon can be cumbersome and potentially more hassle than help.

5. Military Pistol

An Important Pistol for Stealth and Fast-Firing

In terms of Abby’s arsenal, the Military Pistol serves as her primary and crucial weapon, yet it’s not the top-tier option. The ammunition for this firearm is readily available, while attachable suppressors enable its usage in stealth scenarios, albeit temporarily, until the silencer gets damaged. With the Military Pistol, Abby can swiftly and consistently engage enemies, but non-headshots won’t inflict substantial damage.

The Military Pistol is worthy of high marks due to its stealth, swift maneuverability, rapid firing rate, and ample ammunition capacity. However, it loses points because of its poor accuracy and insufficient stopping power, making it an ideal choice for less intense combat situations or precise headshots in stealth missions.

4. Double Barrel Shotgun

A Powerful Gun for Close-Range Slaying

When it comes to close-range combat, especially in enclosed spaces like buildings, this trusty tool is my go-to weapon without fail.

Each shot, however, is lethal to enemies, although it might not be effective against Shamblers and Bloaters because their armored hide requires special attention from players.

Regardless of whether it’s a direct hit or not, the Hunting Pistol can effortlessly take down Seraphs and the infected. Its damage output is substantial, and the upgrades only make it better, but it’s unfortunate that it runs out of ammo quite quickly before reloading is necessary.

The Crossbow shines in stealth gameplay, so opt for this weapon if you prefer a quiet and violent lifestyle.
