In my gaming journey through Assassin’s Creed: Shadows, I’ve stumbled upon some fascinating happenings within the game world. For instance, there’s an intriguing mystery hidden in the Izumi Settsu province that calls for a bit of brainwork to unravel. By cracking this riddle, I can even score a tidy sum of Mon!

It’s important to mention that the NPC characters involved in this bet appear at a completely random spot. While many players of Assassin’s Creed Shadows may find them in or near Sakai, they can also stumble upon these characters in secluded areas too.

I am Sucked in from the Bottom and Let Out from the Mouth. What am I?

If players decide to accept the NPC’s bet, they’ll encounter the “Sucked in from the bottom” puzzle and be presented with three options as responses. The solution to this riddle is “Is it tobacco smoke?”. Picking any of the other two choices will lead to a loss of 100 Mon for the players.

You Can Keep the Mon or I want my Mon?

If players pick the correct solution, the NPC might try to back out of the deal, claiming financial distress. If players say “Give me my Mon”, the NPC will reluctantly give them 100 Mon. However, if players choose “Keep your Mon”, the NPC will propose they can either receive Scout Intel or World Rumor instead. Given that Mon are quite abundant in Assassin’s Creed Shadows, it’s more beneficial to let the NPC keep their money.

If players haven’t utilized any scouts since the previous season shift, the system will automatically retain the earnings, resulting in them receiving a World Rumor. Similarly, if players have explored all points of interest on the map, they’ll receive Scout Intel as a default.
