After a two-year absence, streamer Adin Ross, known for stirring up controversy, has been reinstated on Twitch following a historic ban. In 2023, he was suspended due to the inability to moderate inappropriate content on his channel and chat, leading him to make Kick.com his new home where he quickly rose to prominence among its top personalities.
In July 2024, I wrote about Ross’s potential comeback on Twitch. This topic arose when the company’s CEO, Dan Clancy, expressed his willingness to discuss with Ross to determine whether he had genuinely reformed.
I guess he has.
Took You Long Enough
Back in February 2023, I hit a massive milestone on Twitch when I soared to 7.2 million followers, making me one of the platform’s biggest names. Alongside this, I managed to amass a staggering 70,000 subscribers and consistently draw in some of the highest average viewer counts.
However, my journey didn’t end there. Although I couldn’t quite reach those heights on Kick.com, I continued to push boundaries with my content. Some of my standout moments include hosting an interview with none other than Donald Trump – talk about a career highlight!
After Twitch suspended Adin Ross’s account, he had to start over from scratch upon his return. However, within just 12 hours of his comeback being revealed, he gained an impressive 56,000 followers. It could take a considerable amount of time for him to regain the level of success he previously enjoyed, and with declining global viewership, it’s possible that he may struggle to reach that point again.
Previously this year, Adin Ross announced plans to collaborate with FaZe Clan to establish a cryptocurrency-supported roleplay server within Grand Theft Auto 6. This announcement ignited the gaming community, although it’s highly unlikely due to significant conflicts with Take-Two Interactive and Rockstar Games’ service agreements. However, anything is possible.
Is Ross not currently streaming on Twitch, but his account is growing rapidly? It may not be long before he makes a comeback to the platform. Will you tune in to watch his highly anticipated return to Twitch? Share your thoughts below or head over to the TopMob forum.
