Summary
- Adin Ross recently assured fans that he intends to stay on Kick “for good.”
- Ross abruptly disappeared from Kick in 2024, sparking rumors about the streamer possibly exiting the platform.
- The rumors turned out false, as Ross returned to Kick with a new livestream last weekend and apparently has “bigger” plans for the future.
Adin Ross has made it clear that he intends to remain on the streaming platform Kick indefinitely. Previously speculated as considering a move away from Kick, the former Twitch streamer’s recent return to the platform has shown his dedication to sticking with it and even harbors ambitious aspirations for its future.
Back in 2023, finding myself at the center of global attention as one of the world’s most debated streamers, I was given a permanent ban from Twitch. In search of new horizons, I decided to join the relatively unknown platform called Kick, along with other content creators like xQc. My arrival on Kick significantly boosted its popularity and visibility.
Throughout 2023, I thrived on Kick, gaining a loyal fanbase. However, in 2024, I unexpectedly took a break from the platform, leaving my supporters guessing about my future plans. This led to speculation of a disagreement between myself and Kick’s CEO, Ed Craven, but it seems those rumors were just that – rumors.
Back on December 21st, 2024, during a live stream with Craven, I dropped a bombshell – I was considering leaving Kick after hinting at an exit for months. But Fast forward to January 4th, 2025, and it’s been 74 days since my last stream, but I’ve returned with fellow creators Cuffem, Shaggy, and Konvy. With me committing to stay on Kick long-term, those whispers about me jumping ship to other platforms can finally be silenced. As a gamer and content creator, I couldn’t be more excited for what the future holds!
Adin Ross Will Stick with Kick and Has “Bigger” Plans to Announce
In addition to the anticipation surrounding Ross’ comeback, his tweet hinted at something even more substantial in the pipeline, though specifics about these upcoming endeavors remain vague for now. Given Ross’ past statements about his Brand Risk boxing events as a significant project he intends to grow with Kick’s support, many fans speculate that this might be connected.
However, it’s important to note that Ross previously encountered legal issues with Misfits Boxing over unapproved boxing events in early 2024. Here’s hoping that future Brand Risk projects won’t encounter the same hurdles.
Ross sticking with Kick Stream is undoubtedly good news for both his supporters and the streaming service, which has been steadily climbing in popularity due to partnerships with high-profile content producers. Co-founder Bijan Tehrani mentioned a few months back that Kick aims either to overtake or acquire Twitch. While this goal might seem ambitious, considering Kick’s present momentum, it’s not entirely implausible.
