To max out your weapons and armor in Crimson Desert, you’ll need Aeserion Scales. These are the ultimate upgrade materials and can be obtained at the Serpent Shrine.
The Serpent Shrine is a hidden area with a special boss battle. You can visit anytime and collect Aeserion Scales – even while the large snake boss is still active – without needing to fight for them.
How to Find Aeserion Scales in Crimson Desert
- Aeserion Scales can be found at the Serpent Shrine in Dewhaven Territory.
- We’ve shown the location on the map above, but it’s in the far south region on the coast in Deleysia.
- At Serpent Shrine, you’ll also find Aeserion, the Great Serpent, which is a boss connected to the “Shackled God” Faction Quest.
- We’ve covered the entirety of the quest here, but you won’t need to complete it in order to grab Aeserion Scales.
- Simply ignore the lightning strikes and run around the Serpent Shrine to collect Aeserion Scales.
- Aeserion Scales can be picked up with Axiom Force (L3), but you must have a Kuku Pot to seal them inside.
How to Use Aeserion Scales in Crimson Desert
Aeserion Scales are used as the final upgrade material for weapons and armor.
Aeserion Scales appear in certain Kuku Pot recipes originating from Grimnir, and can be found at the Kilnden Workshop in Hernand.
To get the last upgrades, you’ll need Aeserion Scales, and you can find plenty of them at the Serpent Shrine.
