On the opposite end of the spectrum at the launch price of games for the console is ‘Mario Kart World’, tagged at a hefty $80. In Europe, the sequel to Mario Kart 8 will be even more costly, retailing at an eye-popping €90 (approximately $102). However, it’s important to note that the price difference between these markets may not be as significant as it appears initially. This is because the U.S. price doesn’t factor in sales tax, which can vary by state. In contrast, most European retailers are obligated to include VAT in their advertised prices.>
