This article contains spoilers from My Hero Academia.
Izuku Midoriya’s ending in My Hero Academia is poignant and has left many fans feeling sad. While he heroically defeated All For One in a climactic battle, it came at a great cost. He had to say goodbye to the spirits within One For All, and ultimately, the power itself. This was a significant loss, both for Izuku, who had worked so hard to master it, and for viewers who had followed his journey. Although Izuku retained a small amount of One For All for a while after the war, he eventually lost even that, leaving him without a Quirk once again.
Many fans felt a sense of completion with Izuku’s story, but were upset when he lost a power he’d rightfully earned. Fortunately, eight years after the war ended, Izuku Midoriya received another boost in strength, restoring his power. Now 25 years old, Izuku is once again battling alongside Japan’s top heroes, all thanks to a new ability he’s unlocked in My Hero Academia.
