Afterlove EP releasing on Valentine’s Day

On Valentine’s Day (February 14), Pikselnesia and Fellow Traveller have revealed that the new game titled Afterlove EP, originally developed by the late creator Fahmi, is set to launch. This heartfelt tale about a musician dealing with the aftermath of his girlfriend’s passing will be playable on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series XS, Nintendo Switch, and PC platforms worldwide.

Struggling to let her go, particularly as he continues to hear her voice within him, Rama is about to encounter numerous obstacles. Among these challenges are discovering motivation and completing the EP he vowed to Cinta (but continually delayed until it was too late); reconnecting with his friends and bandmates; preparing for a significant concert at month’s end; and above all, the intimidating prospect of moving forward, whether that means finding love, friendship, or determining his own future course.

In a blend of breathtaking artwork and a profoundly moving narrative, the Afterlove EP immerses you in the vibrant and vivid world of Jakarta. This interactive tale, reminiscent of a visual novel, combines rhythm game, life simulation, and dating sim elements, all adorned with manga-style illustrations by Indonesian artist Soyatu. Despite the tragic passing of Mohammad Fahmi in 2022, his vision for this final project endures through Pikselnesia’s dedication to preserving his legacy. Although his sudden departure was heartbreaking and unexpected, it is touching to see the creator behind Coffee Talk and What Comes After continue to inspire us posthumously in this game.

In honor of announcing its release date, we’ve additionally shared a fresh trailer for Afterlove EP, which you can view just underneath.
