In simpler terms, “Elden Ring Nightreign” is the latest creation by FromSoftware, and since it belongs to the genre of roguelike games, there’s a good deal of treasure hunting involved. It’s important to note that not all treasures in the game are created equal. While most artifacts you discover during your adventures have their advantages and disadvantages, occasionally, Lady Luck bestows upon you something quite extraordinary.
For the user u/Miserable-Rock-949, they obtained a unique Grand Drizzly Scene relic. This artifact is exceptional because it enhances the damage dealt by thrown Potions, Knives, and Stones. Interestingly, this combination of effects seems tailor-made for a specific character build.
This Elden Ring Nightreign player might’ve gotten the craziest relic
In a predictable turn of events, when user u/Miserable-Rock-949 shared their latest artifact with the comment “This is undeniably the worst relic in the game. What’s going on?“, the online community couldn’t resist a bit of humor.
The top-voted comment by u/SplooshKaboom is just the perfect thing to say:
Ah, the Random Bullshit Go! build.
This is reminiscent of the well-known Moon Knight meme depicting the character throwing various objects at his adversaries. In this scenario, those specific relic effects might prove beneficial for an intended “throw-heavy” gameplay strategy.
As the sun rose on the fifth day, approximately 3.5 million Nightfarers stood ready to fight the night in #ELDENRING #NIGHTREIGN. We appreciate your unwavering enthusiasm!

Throwing items exist in Nightreign, but their relevance is… questionable. u/SoulCrusher5001 asked:
Honest question , wtf are throwing stones for ?
If you’re curious about whether throwing objects can be considered entirely without value, there are indeed specialized applications for them. Reddit user u/kakurenbo1 mentioned this point.
Kukri will be wounded after three attacks by most bosses… A couple of holy potions will permanently solve your issues with the death rite bird.
Another user, u/LordChester-64, pointed out:
Gravity stones are really good against Crystalians for breaking their stance.

One comment quipped humorously, “By employing that artifact, you’re essentially forfeiting the game,” as it cleverly links the relic’s usage to the action of “losing” or “forfeiting.
But imagine if there was an update that added a build focused on throwables

In a fair assessment, Nightreign has demonstrated that unconventional setups can indeed thrive. Not too long ago, a player managed to conquer the game’s toughest foe using nothing but his bare fists. Though this specific mix of Relic effects appears troublesome currently, it could potentially prove brilliant in the future. Imagine, for instance, if an upcoming update or DLC introduces ranged weapons. It would be a perfect match.
Despite appearing as if you’ve been tricked by the dice gods in the random number generator (RNG), remember that seemingly absurd builds still hold value. Since FromSoftware designed the game with a strong emphasis on rogue-lite mechanics, each roll of the dice for better relics is crucial. So, when something initially seems dismal, give it another look before dismissing it entirely.
Man, this new boss is tougher than a knotted rope, but hey, the good news is that I’m getting some sweet deals on skins! Plus, there are new urns and relics in the #NIGHTREIGN update. Bring it on!

As a devoted fan, I can’t help but appreciate the enchanting allure of Elden Ring Nightreign. The game has been an extraordinary success and is already receiving its initial post-launch enhancements. Although FromSoft may not categorize it as a live-service game, the consistent updates certainly hint otherwise. Regardless of what they call it, I’m just thrilled as long as the game continues to offer an enjoyable experience!
If you’ve managed to secure an extraordinary artifact or captured exciting gameplay moments in Elden Ring Nightreign, remember to share them with the community!
