All 4 Transformations Stronger Than Gear 5 In One Piece

In the world of One Piece, Gear 5 is widely considered one of the strongest transformations. First seen during the Wano Country arc, it’s what Luffy calls the awakened form of his Devil Fruit power. Achieving Gear 5 gave Luffy an incredibly powerful body and greatly enhanced his physical abilities.

Watching Luffy unlock Gear 5 was incredible. It felt like he gained complete freedom, with his only limit being what he could imagine. It’s an incredibly powerful ability, no doubt – it allowed him to take down a monster like Kaido. Even now, it’s easily one of the strongest transformations we’ve seen in One Piece. But it’s interesting, because Oda has hinted that there are even stronger transformations out there, and we’ve already gotten glimpses of some of them in Elbaf.

Imu’s Devil Fruit Transformation

Imu’s Devil Fruit power appears to be significantly stronger than Luffy’s right now. We first saw Imu’s transformation during the Reverie, after Sabo attacked the Five Elders and the world ruler. Immediately following the attack, Imu changed into a creature that seemed to absorb fire.

Many One Piece fans believe Imu is currently the most powerful being in the series. Their strength is immense – even a combined attack from six of the strongest pirates, including legendary figures like Rocks, Whitebeard, and Roger, couldn’t harm them. Imu’s ability to transform also seems to give them control over life and death, allowing them to grant immortality or take lives as they see fit.

Right now, it’s unclear exactly what Imu’s powers are, but it’s obvious they have a powerful and unusual transformation. It’s widely agreed upon that Imu’s transformation is significantly stronger than Luffy’s. However, it’s likely that Luffy’s Gear 5 will eventually reach a similar level of power, as he’ll need to be strong enough to defeat Imu.

Loki’s Legendary Devil Fruit Transformation

Fans recently discovered Loki’s incredible Devil Fruit power, and it’s turning out to be even more powerful than many expected, possibly even surpassing Luffy’s. Loki’s fruit lets him transform into a powerful, mythical creature from the legends of Elbaf. He’s already demonstrated this strength by defeating Harald in his incredibly powerful Deep Sea Covenant form.

This form of Harald was even more powerful than Rocks D. Xebec, meaning Loki, after transforming, surpassed even Rocks in strength. While the exact nature of Loki’s transformation is unknown, it seems connected to a creature from local mythology.

Currently, the most probable options for Loki’s true form are either the dragon Nidhogg or the wolf Fenrir. Both of these would make him an incredibly powerful and dangerous opponent in the One Piece universe. While Loki is said to have the power to destroy the world with his Devil Fruit ability, it’s clear that even Gear 5 isn’t as strong as what Loki is capable of.

Rocks’s Domi Reversi

Recently in One Piece, fans witnessed Rocks D. Xebec transform into his Domi Reversi form. Imu triggered this transformation during the flashback in God Valley, drastically increasing Xebec’s power at the cost of his sanity. This form was incredibly strong – even powerful pirates like Kaido, Whitebeard, and Big Mom couldn’t defeat him. Neither Roger nor Garp could stand against him on their own.

Garp and Roger only managed to defeat him by combining their full strength in one powerful attack; otherwise, they would have been defeated and killed. Based on what we’ve seen, Rocks’ power level is at least greater than Luffy’s.

Because this change made him more powerful, it also boosted his Conqueror’s Haki. Both Garp and Roger noticed that Rocks was covering himself in incredibly strong Conqueror’s Haki, which made him virtually invulnerable. That’s why Roger proposed amplifying their own Haki and unleashing a massive wave of it against him.

When they combined their strong Haki abilities, they broke through Rocks’ defenses and landed a significant hit. This reversed the transformation Imu had inflicted on him, but Saint Garling ultimately killed him.

Five Elders Transformations

Fans currently believe the transformations of the Five Elders are more powerful than Gear 5, specifically in terms of sheer strength. These transformations were revealed during the Egghead Arc of One Piece when the Five Elders made their appearance.

Okay, so the first one to really show what they could do was Saint Jaygarcia Saturn, and let me tell you, it was insane! He could turn into this massive beast called the Gyuki, and it made him unbelievably powerful. Seriously, Luffy was throwing everything he had at him, but nothing even seemed to phase Saturn! What’s even crazier is that Saturn was basically immortal – he could heal from anything, super fast. Plus, he had this deadly poison, and one hit from him would have absolutely wrecked Luffy. It was a really tough fight!

The other four Elders each possess unique and formidable abilities. Saint Ju Peter controls the power of the Sandworm, and Saint Mars wields the power of the Itsumade. Meanwhile, Saint Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro commands the Bakotsu Yokai, and Saint Warcury has the power of the Houki boar.

Honestly, seeing all of Luffy’s growth is amazing! While I truly believe he could win against any of the Five Elders in a straight-up fight, there’s a big catch. His Haki just isn’t quite strong enough yet to overcome their ability to regenerate and essentially not die. So, right now, their transformations would probably win a one-on-one battle, unless Luffy figures out how to deal with that immortality first.
