PowerWash Simulator 2 is a chill and surprisingly story-rich game. As you clean cars, houses, and shops, you’ll uncover the secrets and stories of the quirky residents of Caldera County.
You can unlock all forty achievements in the game simply by playing through the levels, finding hidden items, interacting with cats, and cleaning things in a certain sequence. Here’s a guide to getting 100% completion in PowerWash Simulator 2.
All PowerWash Simulator 2 Gameplay Achievements
This new Xbox Game Pass game has three achievements you can unlock simply by playing. They’re the easiest to get – just finish every level and complete the map while playing career mode.
- Geo-Cashing Achievement: In the Home Base, select a job using the Job Map.
- All Moved In Achievement: Complete the Removals Van Job, which is the first job, in Career Mode.
- Deep Lore Achievement: In the Temple Interior job, descend the stairs.
- It All Comes out in the Wash (Secret) Achievement: Complete all jobs in Career Mode.
All PowerWash Simulator 2 Shopping Achievements
You can also earn a few trophies simply by buying things in the in-game store. Many of these require you to buy a washing machine and all of its accessories, and then keep everything without selling it.
- Leading Light Achievement: Own either light-duty washer and all its attachments at the same time in this relaxing sim game.
- Flush Surface Achievement: Own the surface cleaner and all of its attachments at the same time.
- Happy Medium Achievement: Own either medium-duty washer and all its attachments at the same time.
- Heavy Water Achievement: Own either a heavy-duty washer and all of its attachments at the same time.
- Consummate Professional Achievement: Own a professional-duty washer and all its attachments at the same time.
- Maxed Out Achievement: Own every washer and all their attachments at the same time.
Using a Specific Nozzle Achievements
To unlock certain achievements, you might need to complete levels using only a particular nozzle or specific equipment. These four trophies can be earned in either Career Mode or free play.
- Double Top Achievement: Complete any job using only the UrbanX Double turbo nozzle.
- Three-Pronged Approach Achievement: Complete any job using only the Prime Vista Triple-Tip nozzle.
- Staying Adaptable Achievement: Complete any job using only the Adaptable nozzle.
- High Pressure Achievement: Complete a washing task while abseiling. The first job with abseiling is the billboard cleaning job.
Achievements for Equipping Items in PowerWash Simulator 2
In PowerWash Simulator 2, there are four goals that involve customizing your experience – changing the look of your washing machine, your character’s outfit, your van, or the decorations in your office. Here’s a guide to completing all of them.
- Dressed for Success Achievement: Equip an item of clothing in the coat hanger menu.
- Radical Rebrand Achievement: Apply any skin to your van.
- Washing with Style Achievement: Apply any skin to a washer.
- Home Decor Achievement: In the Home Base, clean and place any piece of furniture that can be purchased in the shop.
Hidden Items and Challenges Achievements
The following four accomplishments are a bit more involved. They’ll require you to interact with specific items, like finding and petting all three kittens, or completing similar tasks.
Purr Bonding Achievement
You’ll find three cats in your home base. Two are to the right of the jobs map, underneath the TV. The third is across the room, next to the couch. The mother cat, Ulysses, is a character from the first game, and the other two are her kittens, Bubbles and Squeak. If you pet all three cats in the home base using the interact button, you’ll unlock this achievement.
Gnome from Home Achievement
You can earn this trophy by finding a hidden gnome in your home office. It’s located behind the door that leads downstairs. Simply use the interact button to pick it up and you’ll complete the challenge.
Rise and Shine Achievement
Okay, so I finally figured out the first task with both a gnome and one of those scissor lifts! It’s on the Teapot level. Seriously, all you have to do is put the gnome on the lift, and then just hit the up button until it’s all the way up. Easy peasy!
Taking Note Achievement
Within the main base, you’ll find a hidden room behind the wall map. Inside, a large corkboard displays photos and articles. To finish this task, simply click on one of the articles pinned to the board.
Specific Jobs with Specific Requirements
Okay, so the final set of achievements are the toughest – they need you to pull off specific actions on certain levels. Luckily, they unlock as you naturally progress through Career Mode, so I’m just going through the game and they’ll pop up as I hit those moments. They’re ordered the same way you experience them in the game, which is super helpful!
Hit the Lights Achievement
Okay, so I just figured out that the first level with an achievement is the Campsite. The key thing is to clean all three of the lanterns with the red nozzles first – seriously, do that before anything else! Just a heads-up, you only need to clean the ones on the ground, the hanging lantern doesn’t count towards the achievement.
Doggy Bath Achievement
In the Dog Car job, level four, you’ll get to use the power washer. First, cover the entire car with soap. Switch to the soap nozzle and apply soap all over, from the front to the back.
Tea Time Achievement
On the Teapot level, you can find six hidden gnomes. Collect them one by one and place each gnome in one of the six seats located in the patio. Successfully placing the last gnome will unlock the achievement.

Where’s Woolly? Achievement
In the Shooting Gallery section of this enjoyable and laid-back cooperative game, you’ll notice a Bigfoot moving around in the background. Successfully complete a full cleaning task, and you’ll unlock a goal related to Bigfoot.
Drop the Ball Achievement
Near the Gas Station job, there’s a small playground with a soccer ball. To complete the task, you need to push the ball down the slide. You can pick up the ball and set it close to the top, but you can’t actually put it on the slide itself.
Hatching a Plan Achievement
In this game’s ‘Bandstand Job,’ you and your friends on Steam need to secure the hatch last. You’ll find it right in the middle of the gazebo floor.
Floor is Lava Achievement
In the Stone Circle challenge, your goal is to jump between all eight pillars without touching the ground. The gaps between the pillars are quite wide, so use the step ladder to bridge the distance and make the jumps easier.
Flying Start Achievement
When you start the Rock Climbing job, you’ll see a Pterodactyl at the top of the wall. Before you do anything else – even cleaning the railing it’s standing on – make sure to thoroughly clean its wings, body, legs, and tail.
Make it all Shine Achievement.
In Roller Disco, this simple game takes place in two areas: a front area with snacks and skate rentals, and a back room that’s the actual disco rink. The rink has a disco ball hanging from the ceiling, and you need to clean the ball completely before doing anything else. Be careful not to accidentally clean the string holding it up while you’re washing it!
Message Received Achievement
To earn a special trophy, you need to complete the Car and Trailer job and wash the satellite dish on top of the trailer before cleaning anything else.
Door to Door Achievement
When you’re at the motel, please start by cleaning the doors to the rooms. Specifically, clean all six doors, their handles, and the numbers on them. Just focus on the doors themselves – don’t clean the baseboards, door frames, or surrounding walls.
Front Row Seats Achievement
To earn this reward, you must start by thoroughly cleaning the entire first row of seats. This means cleaning everything – the armrests, the seat bases, all the cushions, the seat backs, and the lettered signs at both ends of the row – before moving on to anything else.
Ticket to Ride Achievement
Okay, so as a huge roller coaster fan, here’s the deal: you absolutely have to stay on the whole ride! I always find it helps to crouch down a little in your seat – it makes balancing way easier. Then, hit that button on the control panel, and get ready for a seriously wild spin around the park. Just make sure you stay on for a complete loop, or it doesn’t count!
Cosmic Ordering Achievement
This is the hardest trophy to earn in the game. First, you need to thoroughly clean the Sun, but don’t touch its base or any signs attached to it. Then, clean the planets one by one, in the correct order.
- Sun
- Mercury
- Venus
- Earth (You can clean the inside of Earth if you want to, but it is not required. You will need to ignore the moon.)
- Mars
- Jupiter
- Saturn
- Uranus
- Neptune
- There is no Pluto

Glassando! Achievement
The Fun House heist has a couple of achievements to unlock, starting with the Glassando! trophy. To get it, go to the second floor of the building and find the keyboard. Stand facing the window behind the keyboard, then start spraying water on the keys from the lowest note to the highest – make sure to hit both black and white keys!
Spin Doctor Achievement
The second task in the Fun House is to use the flat, round powerwashing head – the surface cleaner – to clean one of the spinning discs on the floor. You don’t have to do this right away; you can clean it whenever you’re ready.
Wise Decision Achievement
In the center of the Shopping Mall, you will see a huge owl. Clean it first to get this trophy.
Squeaky Clean Achievement
