It lets players create both vacations and unique places for Sims to hang out, opening up new ways to play and tell stories. When players discover everything new in The Sims 4‘s Adventure Awaits expansion pack, it’s tempting to jump right into the exciting parts. While exploring all the features can be enjoyable, sometimes players just want to fast-track the fun. Luckily, there are some Adventure Awaits cheats available to help The Sims 4 players do just that.
How to Enable Adventure Awaits Cheats in The Sims 4
The following cheats are entered into the game’s cheat console. However, you first need to enable cheats in The Sims 4. To open the console, press Ctrl + Shift + C on a PC, Command + Shift + C on a Mac, or all four shoulder buttons simultaneously on a console.
After that, players need to type either “testingcheats on” or “testingcheats true” to turn on cheats. Once completed, players can then use all Adventure Awaits cheat codes without issue.
The Sims 4 Adventure Awaits Skill Cheats
Adventure Awaits brought four new skills to Sim players: Papercraft, Diving, Entomology, and Archery. Papercraft is the only one of these that’s considered a major skill; the others – Diving, Entomology, and Archery – are minor skills. This means players only need to reach Level 5 to fully max them out.
The cheat codes for developing skills in the Adventure Awaits career in The Sims 4 depend on which skill your Sim is learning. Below are the codes you need to enter into the cheat console to quickly maximize all Adventure Awaits skills:
- stats.set_skill_level Minor_Diving 5
- stats.set_skill_level Minor_Entomology 5
- stats.set_skill_level Skill_Archery 5
- stats.set_skill_level Major_Papercraft 10
Players have the freedom to set their Sims’ skills to any desired level. While using “5” or “10” in the code will instantly max out a skill, players can choose a smaller number if they prefer to develop it gradually.
The Sims 4 Adventure Awaits Aspiration Cheats
In The Sims 4, you can’t use cheat codes to finish aspirations immediately. Instead, players must either use cheats to finish each individual step of an aspiration, or cheat to unlock the special reward trait that comes with completing it.
We haven’t yet discovered a direct cheat code for the Critter Enthusiast trait, which players earn by finishing the Critter Hunter aspiration in the Adventure Awaits expansion pack. For now, players can use the milestone promotion cheat code to get the Critter Enthusiast reward trait. Here’s the code to enter into the cheat console:

The Sims 4 Adventure Awaits Career Cheats
There’s no simple way to instantly choose your desired rank in your career. Players need to earn promotions through gameplay, advancing step-by-step to reach higher levels. Instead of selecting a rank directly, you’ll need to promote yourself multiple times to climb the ranks.
The The Sims 4 Adventure Awaits expansion introduced the Park Worker career. Players can use the codes below to move their Sim up or down in their job:
- careers.promote parkworker
- careers.demote parkworker
No matter what job players select as a Park Worker, they can use this code to keep getting promoted.
