Crimson Desert features 8 Bell Towers located throughout the world of Pywel. You can find and ring most of them easily by visiting the 8 different towns and cities. A few towers, however, require you to solve puzzles before you can activate them.

You can explore and ring the Bell Towers right away – you don’t need to progress through the story to access them. We’ve provided a list of all the Bell Towers, organized in the order you’ll likely discover them as you play.

Bell Tower #1: How to Ring the Hernand Bell in Crimson Desert

Toll of Hernand

  • Location: North district of Hernand Town, just behind the notice board and the central tree.
  • Climb up the white tower with the brown brick pointed roof and ring the bell that’s inside.

Bell Tower #2: How to Ring the Scholastone Bell in Crimson Desert

Toll of Scholastone

  • Location: Southeast area of the Scholastone Institute, on the upper balcony, south of Hernand.
  • You’ll naturally come to the Scholastone Institute in Chapter 3’s Main Quest.

Bell Tower #3: How to Ring the Calphade Bell in Crimson Desert

Toll of Calphade

  • Location: South of Calphade, on the rooftop of the Church of Calphade.
  • You will come to this bell naturally in Chapter 6, but it can only be rung before or after Chapter 6.

Bell Tower #4: How to Ring the Pailune Bell in Crimson Desert

  • Location: In the center of the City of Pailune in Pailune, in the red tower by the fishing docks.
  • Climb the back of the red tower to find a ladder that will lead you to the top, where you can find the bell.
  • This can only be achieved after Chapter 7 in the Main Quest after liberating Pailune.

Bell Tower #5: How to Ring the Demeniss Bell in Crimson Desert

​​​​​​​Toll of Demeniss

  • Location: South district of the City of Demeniss.
  • You will need to climb the church’s largest tower. On the west side of the building, you will find a flagpole that must be grabbed to pull it down and reveal the bell within the tower.
  • Most guards in Demeniss will be hostile until after Chapter 8, but they can be ignored or fought without consequence.

Bell Tower #6: How to Ring the Tommaso Bell in Crimson Desert

  • Location: North building in Tommaso, within the Crimson Desert region.
  • Climb the sandstone tower in the north district by the Contribution Shop and ring the bell that’s inside.

Bell Tower #7: How to Ring the Delesyia Bell in Crimson Desert

​​​​​​​Toll of Delesyia

  • Location: In the northwest district of the City of Delesyia, inside the clocktower before the castle.
  • This bell tower just needs to be climbed, and there’s no gimmick to activating it.

Bell Tower #8: How to Ring the Varnia Bell in Crimson Desert

​​​​​​​Toll of Varnia

  • Location: North east area of the Crimson Desert in Varnia, in the tower with the large dome.
  • You will need to climb the tower and push the lever with the Left Stick counter-clockwise to open the rooftop and reveal the bell.
  • This area is extremely far away and hard to reach without a Dragon, but it is possible.
