All Boss Locations In Vampire Survivors: Ode to Castlevania

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades of gaming under my belt, I must say that the Vampire Survivors: Ode to Castlevania DLC has been nothing short of a delightful journey down memory lane. The boss encounters in this expansion are an ode to the iconic characters from the Castlevania series, each presenting their unique challenges and rewards.

It might be that some of the most memorable figures in the “Vampire Survivors: Ode to Castlevania” DLC are the bosses you encounter on your path towards Dracula’s throne room. Ranging from the colossal Bat greeting you at the castle gates, to the formidable pair Slogra and Gaibon ready to challenge you with their synchronized assaults, they all make an appearance in some form within the expansion.

To progress through the castle, you’ll need to defeat them. Not all at once, mind, as that pesky Red Death is always on standby to stop a run after 30 minutes. No, instead you’ll use them to open gates and warp between the different regions, thereby unlocking secret characters and their various weapon sets a little bit more easily. To help you keep track of who you’ve beaten at least once, here is a list of all the boss encounters in the Vampire Survivors: Ode to Castlevania DLC.

How to fight Vampire Survivors: Ode to Castlevania Bosses

In the game “Vampire Survivors: Ode to Castlevania”, a total of 15 runes are found, each containing a boss you meet during your journey through Dracula’s Castle. To summon these bosses, simply walk over the rune until you see an exclamation mark. Once the enemy appears above you, defeating them will always result in at least one chest drop. Occasionally, they may also drop an additional item that can aid your progression.

While not all are mandatory, overcoming these challenges can grant you access to new weapons for character development in your subsequent gameplay sessions. Defeating some of the bosses necessitates dodging their attacks, which will be indicated on the screen. Since they’re relatively easy to dodge by keeping mobile, you won’t need to stay in one spot. Plus, you can activate multiple runes simultaneously. Be cautious not to lose sight of them, as stumbling upon them could result in damage or even missing out on precious loot after their demise.
