All Boxer and Champion Effigy Locations in Resident Evil 7

As you play as Joe Baker in the ‘End of Zoe’ DLC for Resident Evil 7, you’ll discover collectibles that will help you fight the Swamp Man. These include Boxer and Champion Effigies, which boost Joe’s punching power. Each Boxer Effigy increases his strength by one percent, while each Champion Effigy gives him a five percent boost, making him much more powerful against the Molded.

As a big Resident Evil 7 fan, I was really excited to hunt down all the Effigies in the End of Zoe DLC! While you might stumble across a few randomly in crates, most of them are hidden in specific spots that are easy to miss. I decided to put together a guide to help anyone else trying to find all 13 Effigy locations so we can finally take down that Swamp Man!

Effigy Location 1 (Boxer)

You’ll find the first collectible, an Effigy, on a yellow barrel to the left, right after you go through the first door you can break. Once you’ve defeated the two Molded enemies in that area, break down the door to claim the Boxer Effigy and some Chem Fluid, which you can use for crafting in RE7.

Effigy Location 2 (Boxer)

You’ll find the second Boxer Effigy on top of a rock in a pool of water while you’re carrying Zoe through the Base.

Effigy Location 3 (Boxer)

You’ll find the next Effigy in the Medical Storage area, near where the first fast-moving Molded enemy appeared. After defeating the second fast-moving Molded with the throwing spear, break through the door and go up the stairs. On your left, on top of a barrel, you’ll see a save point and the Boxer Effigy.

Effigy Location 4 (Boxer)

After your first battle with the swamp monster while still in the Base area, you can find the next Effigy. Jump off the dock and go into the shed on the right. Inside, the fourth Boxer Effigy is on the wall to the right, above a tape recorder on a table.

Effigy Location 5 (Boxer)

Once you’re on the Paddle Boat, climb the ladders to the roof of the main deck (3rd floor) to find a Boxer Effigy. Walk across the deck towards the stairs leading up to the bridge. Instead of going up, continue past the bridge entrance and take the metal walkway on your left, just before the stairs that lead down to the other side of the deck. You’ll find the Boxer Effigy along the damaged edge of the roof on the left side.

Effigy Location 6 (Champion)

Once you go below deck, you’ll need to defeat several types of Molded – some heavily armored, some quick, and some standard. After clearing the first level and dropping down to the second, you can find the first Champion Effigy. Look for the first room on the second level; it contains a crate you can break open and an air duct. After grabbing the loot from the crate, enter the air duct and follow it to find the Champion Effigy located on Paddle Boat 1F.

Effigy Location 7 (Boxer)

After leaving the air duct on the first floor of the Paddle Boat, you’ll enter a room with two Molded enemies and a door you can break. Defeat the Molded and go through the door, then climb the ladder on your left. Once you’re at the top, crouch and look to the right – you’ll find a Boxer Effigy resting against some propane tanks on the lower shelf.

Effigy Location 8 (Champion)

You can find the Champion Effigy outside the Paddle Boat, hidden inside a fridge in Quarantine Area 1 – it’s under the shack you’ll go through to continue the story. Before heading into the water, grab a throwing spear! An alligator is waiting to attack Joe.

Effigy Location 9 (Champion)

You’ll soon reach Quarantine Area 2, which is flooded and full of alligators. Look for three statues on the broken walkways to confirm you’re in the right place. The Effigy is located in a tree you can see at the beginning of this area. Find it by going up the ramp and turning left onto the walkway – be sure to grab the supplies from the crate at the top of the ramp first.

Make your way to the tree, but be careful of the water – alligators will appear as you go. If you need throwing spears, follow the wooden path past the first Molded enemy to find some.

Effigy Location 10 (Boxer)

Once you leave Quarantine Area 2, look to the left at the start of the Abandoned Church area. You’ll see a shed where you can save your game using a tape recorder and collect another Boxer Effigy.

Effigy Location 11 (Boxer)

After defeating the large Molded enemy in the cemetery, you’ll find the next Boxer Effigy on the right side of the steps leading to the Abandoned Church.

Effigy Location 12 (Champion)

As you explore the Old House, you’ll find the final Champion Effigy. After reaching the double doors Ethan uses during the game, don’t enter the main area. Instead, continue into the next room with the damaged floor and turn right – you’ll find the effigy against the locked door.

Effigy Location 13 (Boxer)

The final Boxer Effigy—and the last one in the End of Zoe DLC—is located immediately after leaving the Old House. Look to your right, along the walkway, for a mesh fence; the effigy is right there.
