In Heartopia, you can collect butterflies and document them in your insect journal. You’ll find these beautiful creatures in lots of different places, like forests, towns, beaches, flower fields, and during special events.
As a huge butterfly enthusiast in Heartopia, I’m always trying to track down every species! It’s tough because each one seems to have its own preferences – certain spots they like to hang out in, specific times of day they’re active, and even the weather they prefer. So, I put together this guide to help myself (and hopefully others!) find every butterfly currently living in Heartopia. It details where and when to look for each one!

Before you start catching insects, you’ll need to unlock the Insect Catching Hobby. You’ll also need the bubble net, which you can get from Naniwa, to be able to catch the butterflies in Heartopia. Here’s a complete list of all the butterfly species found there.
