All Call of Duty Ranks | How to get Top 250

As a veteran Call of Duty player with countless hours spent in virtual battlefields, I can’t help but feel a sense of nostalgia when I see this familiar rank structure. From Bronze to Top 250, these ranks have been my personal milestones for years. The thrill of climbing up the ladder, the satisfaction of reaching new heights, and the occasional disappointment at a sudden drop – it’s all part of the Call of Duty experience.

Not only is Call of Duty a widely-loved casual shooter game, but it also shines in competitive and ranked settings. With Black Ops 6 recently launched, gamers are eagerly anticipating the rollout of its ranked mode. Yet, it’s worth noting that all recent Call of Duty titles have maintained the same ranked system. Here is a rundown of all the Call of Duty ranks:

Every Call of Duty Rank

In the realm of electronic sports and gaming, Call of Duty remains one of the most influential titles, boasting a huge player base that logs in daily. Yet, despite its widespread appeal among casual players, it also hosts a thriving competitive community.

So, here is a list of every rank in Call of Duty (updated last in Modern Warfare 3):

  • Bronze (I – III): 0-899 SR
  • Silver (I – III): 900-2,099 SR
  • Gold (I – III): 2,100-3,599 SR
  • Platinum (I – III): 3,600-5,399 SR
  • Diamond (I – III): 5,400-7,499 SR
  • Crimson (I – III): 7,500-9,999 SR
  • Iridescent: 10,000 SR
  • Top 250: 10,000+ SR

The game’s ranked system runs off of Skill Rating (SR), which is Call of Duty’s in-game points used to rank up. Players rank up by getting kills and wins when playing ranked.

How to get Top 250 in Call of Duty

In contrast to most other games, Call of Duty’s highest rank, Top 250, sets it apart because it identifies you as part of an elite group within the player base, rather than simply achieving the best possible rank.

Achieving a place among the Top 250 players in Call of Duty is a truly remarkable accomplishment, given that just 250 individuals worldwide can lay claim to such an achievement. However, unlike other end-game rankings, your position within the Top 250 is not guaranteed and could be usurped by others vying for the same spot.

As a dedicated gamer, I’ve got to keep grinding in ranked matches to maintain my place among the Top 250. Losing my spot isn’t an option if I want to stay at the top. It’s not just about playing, but about consistently performing well enough to hold onto that prestigious rank.
