All changes in Black Ops 6 Open Beta

As a seasoned Call of Duty: Black Ops fanatic with over a decade of gaming under my belt, I can’t help but feel a mix of anticipation and trepidation as we approach the second weekend of Black Ops 6’s beta. The first weekend was a rollercoaster ride of intense gameplay, frustrating spawns, and tantalizing glimpses of what could be an exceptional gaming experience.

The early beta testing for Black Ops 6 has concluded, however, another opportunity arises on September 6 for everyone to join in, as it opens up the test to all players. This early access phase enabled Treyarch to gather player feedback and observe gameplay, allowing them to make necessary adjustments to enhance the overall experience, which they’ve already begun announcing

Players aren’t overly satisfied with the spawn locations and weapon balance, but fortunately, developers are planning to make adjustments during the upcoming weekend, along with introducing fresh content

So, here’s everything you can expect in Black Ops 6’s second beta weekend.

New content, updates & fixes for second BO6 beta weekend

  • Level cap raised to 30
  • Weapon Balancing
  • Spawn tuning
  • Increased Weapon XP earn rate
  • Audio improvements
  • Bug fixes + more

Over the weekend, I’ve been immersed in the thrilling world of #BlackOps6 Open Beta! A huge thank you to everyone who joined me in this high-octane adventure. Your valuable feedback has been duly noted. The excitement resumes on September 6 at 10 AM PT, as we delve deeper into the beta with a trove of fresh content, improvements, and bug fixes. Here’s a sneak peek:

— Treyarch Studios (@Treyarch) September 4, 2024

On September 4th, Treyarch revealed that they would be implementing updates and adjustments, particularly focusing on the balance of the Jackal PDW weapon. Many gamers during the early access beta period asserted that this gun was excessively powerful

Frequently reported issues included the frequent flippers among the spawn points, and complaints about certain areas being overly focused on spawning enemies (spawn-trapping)

Players have mentioned that earning experience points (XP) with weapon XP was happening too gradually, making it a tedious process to unlock attachments. However, the Open Beta plans to enhance this by boosting the speed at which Weapon XP is accumulated. This adjustment should enable players to rapidly advance their weapon levels and experiment with diverse weapon builds more efficiently

Regarding advancement, the highest rank is boosting up from 20 to 30, providing access to additional content for personalized loadouts, such as new weapons. Should you have attained level 20 during the early access period, you’ll enter the Open Beta already at that level, giving you a leg up on other content

Apart from audio enhancements and bug resolutions, we aim to ensure that the Open Beta runs seamlessly for everyone involved

For an optimal gaming experience, ensure you’ve optimized your BO6 controller or M&K settings, and also configured your PC for top-notch performance settings
