In the seven distinct stages that Shadow can explore within “Sonic X Shadow Generations”, there are hidden Collection Keys. These items are highly valuable as they enable players to open the treasure chests scattered throughout White Space. With a total of 92 chests to unlock, gamers will have to search diligently for all the keys if they aim to access every piece of Music, Artwork, and Story Summary that Shadow has to offer.
Kingdom Valley is Shadow’s third available stage in Sonic X Shadow Generations, returning from the infamous Sonic 06, where it played a vital role in Shadow’s Story. It was here that Shadow first met Mephiles the Dark, a terrifying foe who copied Shadow’s form via his shadow and went on to become the main antagonist of Shadow’s Story. There are 18 Collection Keys scattered across Kingdom Valley’s two main acts and four Challenges, so here’s how to find them all.
All Collection Keys in Kingdom Valley Act 1 in Sonic X Shadow Generations
There are three collection keys to find in Kingdom Valley Act 1.
Yellow Collection Key
To obtain the Collection Key, make your way across the level until you spot the ropes depicted in image 1. Stand on the uppermost rope, then jump down forcefully to propel yourself upward and strike a concealed Boost Ring. This action will catapult you towards a ledge on the right side. Activate the Wind Rail located there and glide along it until you discover a cave. Sprint through the cave and utilize the ramp at its exit to propel yourself towards the Yellow Collection Key.
Blue Collection Key
In the initial segment of Doom Surf, you’ll discover the upcoming Collection Key. Navigate through this area until you reach the ramp depicted in Image 1 (Located on the right side of the course, approximately halfway through). Jump from this ramp, and it will transport you to a higher level. Here, you can activate a Wind Rail and surf it to the location of the Blue Collection Key.
Green Collection Key
To get to the third Collection Key, keep progressing in the game level until you encounter the area depicted above. Once there, trigger the Wind Rail on the right side. After riding it, leap to grab the Boost Ring directly in front of you; this will propel you straight into the Green Collection Key.

There are another three Collection Keys in Act 2, so here’s where to find those too.
Yellow Collection Key
To get to the initial Collection Key, leverage the provided boost to propel from the depicted ramp in Image 1, then use a jump or another boost to access the higher pathway. Once on this path, engage and glide along the Wind Rail at its endpoint to collect the Yellow Collection Key.
Green Collection Key
To proceed to the following Collection Key, activate Chaos Control upon reaching the shifting pillars depicted in Image 1, then leap from pillar to pillar until you ascend to the upper path before they descend too low for passage. Keep moving forward as the Green Collection Key is directly ahead on this elevated route.
Blue Collection Key
As a fan eagerly navigating through this thrilling adventure, I found myself standing at the precipice of another challenge – grabbing the elusive Blue Collection Key hidden up high. To conquer this obstacle, I’ll be leaping and bounding across the precarious platforms that seem to be tumbling before my eyes.
How to Get All Challenge Collection Keys in Kingdom Valley in Sonic X Shadow Generations
Twelve additional Collection Keys can be found hidden within four challenges spread throughout Kingdom Valley. Below, you’ll discover their exact locations.
All Collection Keys in Kingdom Valley Act 1: Challenge 1 “Crush With Surf Spin!”
As I embarked on this exciting challenge, I discovered that the initial Yellow Collection Key was hidden on the right side, close to the beginning. To grab it, I navigated through the most rightward boost ring.
To get to the following Collection Key, proceed by turning left at the section indicated earlier and continue on the ramp for some distance. After that, utilize the boost rings depicted in Image 2 to maneuver a turn to your left into a side area. The Blue Collection Key will be waiting for you up ahead in this location.
To obtain the third Collection Key, you must restart the level. Advance in the level until you find the location depicted in image 1, and rotate through crates on the right to access a challenging side path. Navigate carefully through the explosives to reach a trampoline that propels you to an upper region, then traverse the rails to a speed boost ring which will swiftly transport you to a Blue Collection Key.
All Collection Keys in Kingdom Valley Act 1: Challenge 2 “Ring Collector Lv2”
To snatch the initial Collection Key, leap from the Wind Rail towards the tower you see above. The key is located right in the center and is yellow.
Continue ahead, you’ll find the next Access Key during a skydive sequence. Shift towards your right side and plummet through the blue key labeled as a Collection Key.
As a passionate fan, I’d like to share a helpful tip for fellow enthusiasts: To obtain the Final Collection Key, perform a Chaos Control warp at the indicated green spot. Then, follow the specified Chaos Control path, and it will lead you directly to a Blue Collection Key!
All Collection Keys in Kingdom Valley Act 2: Challenge 1 “Beware of Pillars that Pop Up!”
In this challenge, advance to the stage and make your way to the pillar staircase depicted earlier. Swiftly traverse over these pillars and leap onto the ledge where you’ll find a yellow key labeled as the First Collection Key.
To acquire the following Collection Key, navigate towards the area depicted with encroaching spiked walls, ascend to the highest point, and subsequently leap onto the left spiked wall to seize the Blue Access Key.
At the concluding part, you’ll discover the Collection Key hidden in a section requiring you to outrun an approaching spike wall. To obtain it, leap towards the end and seize the key. Subsequently, descend by jumping on the wooden crates to flee. Act swiftly to avoid meeting an untimely demise and having to restart the challenge.
All Collection Keys in Kingdom Valley Act 2: Challenge 2 “Destroy the Egg Gunners!”
As a keen player, I found my way to the enemy indicated in Image 1. Using my powerful Doom Blast, I strategically angled it diagonally upward, mimicking the demonstration in Image 2. This maneuver allowed me to soar high enough and uncover the area holding the elusive Blue Collection Key!
As a keen enthusiast, following the trail I’ve just embarked upon, I found my initial key. Now, keep moving forward and seek out the Wind Rail, as depicted in image 1. Once you’ve engaged it, glide down until you reach the end. Then, in an unusual twist, turn around and scramble backward to unearth a Blue Collection Key.
Continue on from here and you’ll hit a ramp that launches you through a Yellow Collection Key too.
