In a departure that honors the intricate history of the Dune universe, yet infuses it with a new twist, Dune: Awakening incorporates survival elements within a massive multiplayer online (MMO) setting. The game is set on Frank Herbert’s legendary desert world, Arrakis, in an alternate reality where Paul Atreides never emerged and the Fremen have inexplicably disappeared. Players must navigate the planet’s challenging conditions, juggling thirst management and finding refuge from lethal sandworms and Coriolis storms.
Funcom, in conjunction with Twitch, is throwing a party for the debut of “Dune: Awakening“! To help players get ahead, they’re providing free Observer building pieces through Twitch Drops. Here’s how you can snag your own “Dune: Awakening” Twitch Drops before the clock ticks down.
How To Get Dune: Awakening Twitch Drops
From June 5th to June 24th, 2025, Twitch Drops for Dune: Awakening are in action! During this period, you’ll receive three unique items as rewards that will aid you in establishing your base right off the bat. These items grant additional building options at the game’s outset, enabling you to design your base according to your preferences from the start.
To receive your Twitch Drops, first, ensure that your Steam and Twitch accounts are connected with your Dune account. You can do this by visiting the official website of “Dune: Awakening”. Once there, click on the “Login With Steam” button and follow the instructions to link your accounts together.
After finishing that task, search for Twitch streamers who are streaming “Dune: Awakening”. Be sure to look for the “Drops Enabled” label in their stream titles. Some streamers might also announce it in their stream titles or chats.
Once you’ve spent the required time watching a participating stream on Twitch, you’ll be notified about the rewards you’ve earned. To claim them, navigate back to the Twitch Drops Campaigns page and click on “Inventory” at the top. From there, you can collect your well-deserved drops.
It can sometimes take a few hours for the claimed drops to appear in your game.
