Complete List of Endangered Monsties in Monster Hunter Stories 3

In Monster Hunter Stories 3, there are nine rare and endangered monsties to discover. You’ll find them in special dens, but each one is protected by a powerful, invasive monster. Here’s a complete list of these endangered monsties and where to find them.
| Endangered Monsties | Den Location | Guarded By |
| Rathian | The den is located on the eastern edge of Azuria in Sunpetal Plains | Invasive Yian Garuga |
| Astalos | The den is located in the northwest corner of Mirror Lake. | Invasive Seregios |
| Lagiacrus | The Den is located inside a hidden cave in Mirror Lake. | Invasive Plesioth |
| Canyne | The Den is located in Cantalta Timberland. | Invasive Arzuros |
| Nargacuga | The Den is located in the southeastern part of Blessing Hill. | Invasive Nerscylla |
| Zinogre | The den is located at the top of a mountain in Rococo Rocks, Tarkuan | Invasive Odogaron |
| Barioth | The den is located in the northeast of the Coastline Catavan Stand. | Invasive Khezu |
| Tigrex | The den is located at the southern tip of the Colossal Dragon’s Remains area | Invasive Diablos |
| Mizutsune | The den is located behind the waterfall at the northern edge of the Frozen Grotto area | Invasive Shogun Ceanatuar |
Don’t expect your normal hunting strategies to work on Invasive Monsters. These are tougher versions of the monsters you already know, with special abilities that make them much more dangerous. For example, to drive away an Invasive Yian Garuga, you’ll need to break its legs.
If you encounter an Invasive Plesioth, the most effective strategy is to use fire-based weapons combined with a hammer. Focus your attacks on its head to force it to flee.
You don’t have to completely defeat these monsters. Instead, you need to fulfill a certain condition during the battle to make them leave. Keep in mind that these special monsters only appear at night, so be sure to change the time to nighttime at any Catavan Stand before you start looking for them. After the monster runs away, you can go inside its den and battle the Endangered Species there to get its egg.
What Are Endangered Monsties in Monster Hunter Stories 3?

As you may know, endangered monsties in Monster Hunter Stories 3 are incredibly rare and powerful creatures. Unlike other monsties, you won’t find them roaming around or living in typical dens.
