No, I’m Not a Human has 10 different endings, each unlocked by completing hidden challenges. If you’re aiming for 100% completion or just want to see everything the game has to offer, we’ve created a simple guide to help you achieve all 10 endings. It includes step-by-step instructions and explains what each ending means for the main character and the game’s world.
How to Get the Yes, I’m Alone Ending
Let Him In
To unlock the ‘Yes, I’m Alone’ ending, you need to tell the tall, shirtless man with the scary smile – known as the Pale Visitor – that you are, in fact, alone. He’ll show up on Days 3, 5, 9, and 11. If you answer his question with “I’m alone,” he’ll break down your door and kill you, triggering the ending cutscene.
How to Get The End? Ending
Survive Till the End
You can achieve the ‘good’ ending by making it to Day 14 with only Humans in your house. Having even one Visitor present will prevent this ending. To ensure success, only accept guaranteed Human Guests or carefully screen anyone you allow inside. This ending shows the main character and the other survivors hiding in the basement for a month, waiting for the sun to return to normal and life to go back to the way it was before the Visitors arrived.
How to Get the No, I’m Not Alone Ending
You Survived… But So Did Some Visitors
To unlock the ‘No, I’m Not Alone’ ending, make sure at least one Visitor survives until Day 14, the final day. You can find a list of Visitors you’re guaranteed to encounter here. This ending is achieved by letting everyone inside – it’s likely you’ll let some Visitors in anyway. We suggest trying to keep the Cat Lady alive, as she’s a potential Visitor but won’t kill anyone. In this ending, the main character and the Visitors (who are disguised) hide in the basement, but ultimately the Visitors identify and kill the main character.
How to Get the Wrath of the Vigilante Ending
Revenge Written On a Bullet
You can unlock this achievement on Day 10 or Day 12 when an armed man appears at your door and asks you to prove you live there. To get the ‘Wrath of the Vigilante’ ending, you need to fail his test, and here’s how to do that:
- Show your Teeth – The protagonist has straight white teeth, but they can become yellow by smoking cigarettes; this only lasts a day.
- Show your Hands IF you’ve been digging a tunnel in the basement (only available after you let the Cat Lady inside).
- Show your Eyes IF you drank an energy drink or a coffee on Day 10 or Day 12.
- Show your Armpits IF you haven’t cleaned yourself by inspecting your Armpits in the mirror, as they will be covered in fungus.
- Show your Ears – Only available on Day 12, and the Armed Gunman doesn’t see it as an official symptom.
If you act like an outsider, the game will immediately jump to a cutscene. In this scene, the Armed Gunman and the main character will shoot through the door. The cutscene concludes with the main character injured but surviving, and the Gunman dead. After this, you’ll play as the main character, now taking on the role of the Gunman and going on a violent rampage.
How to Get the Yes, I’m a Murderer Ending
So… Much… Blood…
To get the ‘Yes, I’m a Murderer’ ending, you need to kill four human guests in a single day. Day 9 is the easiest time to do this, as three cultists (who are also counted as human guests) will automatically arrive. Be prepared by stocking up on energy – you’ll need it to kill people, and you can get energy by ordering coffee or Enerjeka by phone from ForRest at 007890. Also, make sure you have another regular human guest invited, choosing from the guaranteed list available here. Once you’ve killed all four (the three cultists and one other human), a cutscene will start when you answer the door the next night – the Bald Prophet will be there. The survivors will then drag you outside and beat you, leaving you to burn to death when the sun rises, declaring that your fear and killings are no different from those of the Visitors.
How to Get the Embrace the Inevitable Ending
Meet Death
Okay, so if you want the true ending in Embrace the Inevitable, you *have* to start listening to the Bald Prophet on Day 4. It’s a pretty specific sequence of things you need to do, and I’ve got the exact steps right here so you don’t miss anything!
- Let the Cat Lady inside on Day 4.
- Don’t test a single Guest on Day 6 and Day 7.
- Enter the basement and begin digging on Day 10. (This consumes 7 energy in total, so do this over the course of 2 days or with energy items).
- Speak with the Bald Prophet on Night 12, who tells you to jump into the hole.
- Enter through the tunnel you dug in the basement and head left, right, right, left. Jump into the hole by the miner.
- Walk towards the entity to trigger the cutscene.
The story concludes with the main character accepting Death itself and finding peace in a solitary, idyllic afterlife. This place exists outside of time, offering a strange comfort in its coldness. It leaves us wondering, though: was the journey to get there a literal event, or a representation of the character’s decision to end their life?
How to Get the Child of Doom Ending
Find the Harbinger of a New Faith
Getting the ‘Child of Doom’ ending relies heavily on luck. You’ll need to repeatedly play the game until a specific character, the Seductive Woman, appears as a guest. It’s not enough for her to just visit; she must appear as a Human Guest and stay overnight in the bedroom. Over three nights, you’ll need to talk to her. Eventually, you’ll find her dead one morning, with a severely damaged stomach. Once this happens, you must complete a specific set of actions on that same day.
- Interact with the curtains in the bedroom to hear the sounds of a crying baby.
- Interact with the fetus found on the ceiling fan in the Living Room.
- Interact with the bowl under the bathtub in the Bathroom.
- Go to bed to enter the night.
- Exit the Bedroom and look out of the left window to see the baby feeding on a dog’s milk.
- Interact with the front door to trigger the ending cutscene.
This is a less common outcome where the remaining people begin to worship the baby, possibly believing it to be the Antichrist destined to appear during the world’s last moments. Meanwhile, the main character is cast out and executed like a religious prophet.
How to Get the Welcome to FEMA Ending
Get a New Job
To finish the ‘Welcome to FEMA’ questline, you need to follow a specific set of conversations with FEMA representatives between Days 3 and 8. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you complete it.
- On Night 4, respond to FEMA with the following:
- Are you alone?
- Why are you in protective gear?
- Should we be wearing that too?
- So what happens next?
- Do I need to pack?
- On Day 5, call FEMA (00-451) and ask about eyes, hands, and armpits.
- On Day 5, use the FEMA Notice (given on Night 4) to any Guest.
- On Night CHECK, respond to FEMA with the following:
- What about the last inspection?
- Fine. If there’s no other way
- On Night 7, accept the Burned Man into your home to receive another FEMA Notice.
- On Day 8, give the FEMA Notice to any Guest.
- On Day 8, call FEMA and ask about ears.
- On Night 8, a FEMA agent will recruit you at the door.
If you fully cooperate with FEMA and assist them, you can unlock a special ending where your character becomes a FEMA agent, leaving their old life behind. The main character feels both fear and excitement about joining this large organization and finding a new sense of purpose.
How to Get the May Death Cleanse Us of Our Sins! Ending
Join the Cultists’ Ritual
To get the “May Death Cleanse Us of Our Sins!” ending, you need to keep all three Cultists alive. They’ll show up on Night 8 and the Cultist Leader will force you to accept them. After that, things become unpredictable – FEMA agents might arrive on Days 9 and 10 and take people away, potentially including one of the Cultists. It’s best to save your game as soon as the Cultists are inside and gather plenty of regular Guests to sacrifice in their place if the FEMA agents come.
FEMA agents will randomly capture people, and if even one of the three Cultists is captured or killed, the Cult Leader will assume they’re all gone and prevent you from reaching the special ending. To unlock it, you must keep all three Cultists alive until Night 11. Then, when the Cult Leader appears, you can respond with, “*I have long wanted to find peace… I am coming with you.*” This will trigger a secret ending where your character joins the Death Cult and is burned in the sun, covered by a cultist shroud, finding peace in death.
How to Get the Shroom or Doom Ending
Perform the Mushroom Ritual
Okay, so if you’re going for the Shroom or Doom ending, here’s what I’ve figured out. First, you *have* to let the Cat Lady in when she shows up on Day 4. Then, on Day 6 (or maybe a bit later, it seems kinda random), the Mushroom Eater will appear. He won’t actually come *inside* your house, but he’ll give you some pages from this creepy Book of Smiles – make sure you take them! You’ll find those pages on your bedside table, and you need to deal with them in a specific order to get the ending you want.
- Enter the basement and click the mushroom found on the left with a bunch of potatoes. (The basement becomes available in the corridor after letting the Cat Lady inside)
- Enter the kitchen and eat the mushroom that’s now in the fridge.
- On the next day, enter the hall and eat the apple that’s on the shelf beside Toto, your childhood toy.
- Enter the bedroom and interact with the clock above your bed (this needs to be done the day after the apple).
- Survive the remaining Days until the Mushroom Eater visits. On his third visit, he will invite you to join him in Mushroom Land. Say yes.
I’m so bummed! It looks like the Hero and the Mushroom Eater arrived in Mushroom Land just a little too late. The kingdom’s gates are shut tight, and now giant mushrooms are popping up everywhere, building new cities right on top of the surface! It seems like those two are stuck out in the cold and darkness, unable to get in.
Unlocking all endings will provide players with the Everywhere at the End of Time achievement.
