In Heartopia, flowers aren’t just for looks – they’re a key part of the Gardening hobby and help you personalize your land. Unlike plants you grow for food, flowers take time and care, and once planted, they stay for good, making each one special. With careful planning and a little patience, you can even breed new colors and create a truly one-of-a-kind garden in Heartopia.
How to Plant Flowers in Heartopia
You’ll start planting flowers around Gardening Level 3. Head to Blanc on Garden Street to buy your first seeds and begin a short quest that introduces you to flower gardening. After that, flowers will become a regular part of your gardening activities.
Flowers are different from crops – you can’t plant them in boxes. They need to be planted directly into the soil on your lot. Once planted, a flower can’t be moved until it’s fully grown, which takes a full day. Some flowers take longer to grow, even with water, so it’s best to plan where you want them beforehand.
As you become a more experienced gardener in Heartopia, you’ll gain access to new flower seeds. You’ll begin with easy-to-grow flowers like Daisies and Pansies, and eventually unlock beautiful and sophisticated blooms such as Roses, Lilies, and Orchids.
I’m always amazed by flowers! They start with these simple, beautiful colors – reds, whites, yellows, you know – but the coolest part is how breeders combine them. That’s where you get all these incredible, unique shades and patterns. It’s like they unlock a whole new level of color!
All Flowers And How To Crossbreed Them in Heartopia
Crossbreeding becomes available as you progress in the gardening system. As soon as you’re able to plant flowers, you can start crossbreeding. Here’s how to make it happen:
- Plant flowers close together in bare soil.
- Water them regularly with your watering can.
- Invite other players to your lot and let them water your flowers.
If you plant flowers near each other, they might create new colors like pink or orange. Each time you water them, there’s a possibility they’ll mix and create different blooms. The more often your flowers are watered by others, the higher the chance of seeing these new colors.
As you improve your skills, the Cultivation Expert ability makes it more likely to successfully crossbreed plants after watering them. You can also buy Rainbow Breeding Powder from Blanc to increase your chances of getting even better results.
