All Fortnite Ranks in Order

As a seasoned gamer with over two decades under my belt, I can confidently say that Fortnite has come a long way since its humble beginnings. The competitive scene is more intricate than ever, and understanding the rank system is crucial for any aspiring champion.

Curious about the various tiers in competitive Fortnite? This well-liked gaming mode hosts some of the most skilled players, which makes climbing up quite a formidable task. Here’s a breakdown of all the Fortnite rankings, listed from lowest to highest:

Fortnite Ranks

In Fortnite, the ranking structure resembles that of numerous other games, commencing at Bronze level. But what sets it apart is its upper tiers within the ranking system.

Here are all the Fortnite ranks in order:

  • Bronze (I, II, III)
  • Silver (I, II, III)
  • Gold (I, II, III)
  • Platinum (I, II, III)
  • Diamond (I, II, III)
  • Elite
  • Champion
  • Unreal

As a dedicated follower, I must say that post the Diamond tier, the rankings have undergone a significant change. Instead of being divided into groups of three (Elite, Champion, and Unreal), each category now stands independently on its own merit.

Fortnite’s Old System

Fun fact! I didn’t realize this until recently, but did you know that Fortnite’s Ranked mode used to go by an entirely different name? It wasn’t referred to as Ranked at all; instead, it was known as “Arena.” Can you imagine the thrill of battling it out in the Arena? 😄

2023 marked the departure of Arena from the game scene, as its place was taken by Ranked. In simpler terms, Arena was a game mode that focused on accumulating points rather than achieving ranks.

In the structure of FNCS (Fortnite Champion Series), there were three distinct tiers: Open, Contender, and Champion. To qualify for competition in the Champion division, players had to be part of the Champion League. The points required to reach this tier often fluctuated, but it generally fell around 6,500.

As a dedicated player, I’ve noticed an interesting rule in certain gaming seasons: Once you’ve advanced to a particular division, you wouldn’t slip back below it, no matter how low your score dipped. However, this changed over time, and only when Fortnite introduced its Ranked mode did this regulation evolve.
