All Heian Hot Springs Locations in Nioh 3

In Nioh 3, Hot Springs are collectibles that appear on your map as you explore more of the game world. When you find and interact with a Hot Spring, you’ll receive a temporary buff that restores your health, which is helpful for nearby exploration. Some Hot Springs are hidden and require you to find secret passages or break through false walls. There are eight Hot Springs to discover in the Heian era of Nioh 3, and you can find all their locations in the guide below.

Finding all the Hot Springs gives players the Spa Lover trophy or achievement.

All Heian Hot Springs Locations in Nioh 3

Mount Kurama

  • Recommended Level: N/A

Starting at the Kinone Michi Shrine, head straight and then turn left to locate a Spirit Vein. Cross to the other side and descend the ladder to discover Heian’s first Hot Spring.

Funaokayama

  • Recommended Level: 59

In the ‘Follow the Soldier’s Shadow’ quest, you’ll head into the enemy base located to the northwest. Look for a path behind the Nurikabe wall – it leads to the Hot Spring. Another way to get there is by going up the hill where the One-Eyed Oni rolls its giant snowball.

Sagano

  • Recommended Level: 62

Starting from the Horiike Pond at Arashiyama Shrine, head south and pass through the enemy camp. Once you reach the mermaids and the sunken temple on your left, cross over to find a Spirit Vein leading up to the Lesser Crucible. However, instead of taking the Spirit Vein, follow the path to the right to find this hot spring.

Sagano

  • Recommended Level: 62

Okay, so before you get to the Matsuo-taisha Shrine’s Ascetic Cave, watch out for a raven hanging around the Tori Gate – it likes to shoot things at you! Once you’re past that, don’t head straight into the cave. Instead, go forward and check the wall on your right. You’ll find a hidden wall there – a Nurikabe! You either need to use the right emote or beat it in a fight to get through. Once you do, you can finally check out the Hot Spring!

Hachijo

  • Recommended Level: 73

Starting from the Anneibo Temple Shrine – the one with the enemy base – head east. As you travel towards the next shrine, you’ll see wooden stairs on your right that lead down to the Hot Spring.

Hachijo

  • Recommended Level: 73

Starting at the Rajomon: Mibu Avenue Shrine, shatter the icicles on the right side to reveal a wooden ledge. Drop down onto the ledge, then onto the building’s roof. Climb down the ladder to discover the Hot Spring.

Rokuhara

  • Recommended Level: 77

Now that you’ve unlocked all the shortcuts starting from Yasaka Shrine: Nishiro Gate, climb the ladder and go south. Take the stairs to your left and continue straight, passing the temple on your right. When you reach the Aberrant Onmyo Mage, turn left. You’ll see some breakable icicles, and beyond them is the Hot Spring.

Palace Grounds

  • Recommended Level: 86

You can find this hidden behind a Nurikabe wall within the Palace Grounds while playing the main story mission, “Frozen City, Blazing Tree.” Because it’s located inside the Crucible, if you didn’t get it, you’ll need to replay the mission using the Battle Scroll.
