Highguard has arrived! After a month of anticipation, we now have a clear understanding of the game – how it’s played and everything that will be available at launch. And there’s a lot to explore!
Games that are constantly updated, like Highguard aims to be, need a steady stream of new content. But if there isn’t enough content available at the beginning, players might not get invested.
Highguard appears to have plenty to offer players right from the start, so it shouldn’t suffer from a lack of things to do.
All Wardens & Mounts Available For Highguard Launch
You can select from eight unique Wardens, each offering different abilities and playstyles. There are also three Mounts available, and even more are planned for future updates.
Highguard offers a good selection of Wardens, with five distinct classes that cover a range of playstyles. At the game’s launch, Assault Wardens are more frequent, with three classes dedicated to that style, alongside two classes focused on defense, making them the most common type of Warden available.

All Maps & Bases Available For Highguard Launch
When Highguard releases, players will be able to battle on five different maps, choosing from six unique Bases each game.
Wildlight Entertainment differentiates between the game’s Maps and Bases. Maps are large, open areas where players can explore and gather resources, while Bases are smaller, more traditional FPS levels focused on intense, close-range fighting. This setup promises a variety of gameplay experiences and sets it apart from other games in the same genre.

All Weapons Available For Highguard Launch
When Highguard launches, players will have ten main weapons to choose from, plus three powerful Raid weapons. And be sure to grab your Melee Axe!
We now have 14 weapons available in Highguard, and even more are expected throughout the year. This is a good, diverse starting selection that should help keep the game balanced early on.
