All Hot Springs in Ghost of Yotei

As I was exploring Ghost of Yotei, I discovered there are 16 Hot Springs scattered around, and they’re awesome! Each one gives Atsu a boost to her max health. Honestly, sometimes I just needed a relaxing bath after taking down the Yotei Six and their crew, but if you want Atsu to be super durable, these are a must-find. This guide will show you exactly where to find every Hot Spring, even the tricky ones, so you can always get that health buff and snag the secret reward for finding them all.

All Yotei Grasslands Hot Springs in Ghost of Yotei

1 – Horizon View Hot Spring

Okay, so I was looking for the Horizon View Hot Spring, and it’s way down south in the Yotei Grasslands. You’ll want to go past your starting area and head beyond Lake Kuttara. It’s just before you hit the coast, nestled in the mountains. Getting there involves a little climb down, but don’t worry, it’s pretty easy if you follow the golden bird. 2 – Yotei’s Shadow Hot Spring

The Yotei’s Shadow Hot Spring is in the western part of the Yotei Grasslands, right below the Shikotsu Woods. To find it, look for the letter “W” in “Woods” on your map, and then head straight from there. It’s an easy walk!

3 – Wild Clearing Hot Spring

The Wild Clearing Hot Spring is located in the northern part of the Yotei Grasslands, right before the Maw of the Serpent on the map. To find it, follow the Nupur River and turn right. You’ll see a mountain wall you can climb; continue upwards, and you’ll discover these peaceful Hot Springs.

4 – Hidden Cliff Hot Spring

The Hidden Cliff Hot Spring is situated in the northwestern part of the Yotei Grasslands, along the route to the Ishikari Plain. Players can discover this hot spring within the Golden Foothills. To reach this secluded spot, they’ll need to climb the left side of the waterfall. It’s a bit of a climb, but it leads to a truly hidden paradise.

5 – Bear Rock Hot Spring

To find the Bear Rock Hot Spring, head north of the Ishikari River. It’s situated on a mountain within the Ishikari Plain, so simply follow the mountain’s edge until you see the entrance. Stay to the left side of the mountain and you’ll find a cliff face. Use your grapple hook to swing across, then continue climbing upwards to reach the Hot Spring at the summit. This unique location offers a rewarding experience.

6 – Kappa’s Hot Spring

The Kappa’s Hot Spring is located a short distance north of the Oni Breath Inn, inside the Urara Forest. You can find it directly above the second “R” and “A” in the name “Urara”. It’s situated in an open part of the forest, which is identified by several oni masks hanging on the trees.

7 – Smoky Mountains Hot Spring

Okay, so if you want to find this Hot Spring, you’ll need to head way up to the north east part of the Ishikari Plain. Look for the White Deer Woodlands – you can’t miss them. Once you’re there, keep an eye out for a cliff you can climb. Don’t go straight up though! Instead, follow the cliff face around to the left and you’ll be able to grapple your way to the top. Once you’re up there, you’ll find the Hot Spring – totally worth the climb!

8 – Cloud View Hot Spring

Okay, so I’m looking for the Cloud View Hot Spring, and it’s way up north in the Ishikari Plain. Basically, you need to head northwest and follow the Rumoi River all the way to the base of the mountain. Then, it’s a climb! It’s pretty steep, but don’t worry, just look for the rocks with the white paint – those are the climbable spots. There are also some tree branches you can grapple across to help you get up. Keep climbing, and once you reach the top, the Hot Spring will be right there! It’s a bit of a trek, but totally worth it. You can find more details about the location on this map.

9 – Quiet Valley Hot Spring

In the western part of the Tokachi Range, you’ll discover the Quiet Valley Hot Spring. This hot spring is simple to locate, just north of the Ohara Plains, nestled between Ubari Lake and the Huranui Cliffs.

10 – Grassy Field Hot Spring

Head north into the Tokachi Range to discover the Grassy Fields Hot Spring. You’ll find this Hot Spring located right near Boar’s Eye Cave – it’s just to the west of it. It’s also east of the final “R” in the name “Nupur River”.

All Nayoro Wilds Hot Springs in Ghost of Yotei

11 – Cave Path Hot Spring

After taking a boat to Nayoro Wilds to find the Kitsune, you can begin exploring the area. This particular Hot Spring is located just west of the Iwor Woods, in the Iwor Mountains. Look for a place to use your grapple directly west of this area, and then climb the rocks on the mountain’s face following the linear path. Keep going along the path, across the slumped tree bridge, and further up the mountain until you see a cave. Once inside, turn sharply to the right and follow that path to find the Hot Spring, which is located at the top of the final climb.

12 – Red Crane Inn Hot Spring

When you get to Teshio Ridge, go to the Red Crane Inn. The Hot Spring is located inside a building slightly to the left of the Inn, just beyond the main gate. All you need to do is talk to the person inside to enjoy a bath.

13 – Black Bowl Hot Spring

Go west from the Red Crane Inn to reach the Crimson Forest. The Black Bowl Hot Spring is located deep within the forest, beyond the point where the name “Crimson” has the letter “C” in it. It’s in a snowy mountain area, and you’ll need to follow the steep slopes until you find a wall you can climb-it’s a fairly short climb, though. Explore carefully!

14 – Valley View Hot Spring

You can find the Valley View Hot Spring by going northwest from the main region towards Sarobetsu Lake. Keep heading north, and you’ll reach it. Just be aware that there’s a small climb involved – you’ll need to go up, cross a tree branch, and then climb again, but it’s not too difficult.

All Oshima Coast Hot Springs in Ghost of Yotei

15 – Distant Castle Hot Spring

Following the quests The Kitsune and The Oni, you can journey south to the Oshima Coast with your team to begin The Dragon & The Spider. Once you arrive in the Oshima Coast region, make your way east. Just northeast of the Tokuyama Hills, you’ll find a Hot Spring. You’ll see the staircase leading up to it is broken. Don’t try to use the stairs! Instead, go to where the stairs begin and walk along the left wall. You’ll discover an opening in the wall that provides access to the Hot Spring.

16 – Cliff View Hot Spring

Go to the easternmost part of Castle Matsumae, into the Shojin Hills. Below the letter “H” in “Shojin”, you’ll find a mountain you can climb. Look to your left for another climbable area and a grapple point, located right before the broken bridge, to reach this Hot Spring.

What Happens After You Get All Hot Springs?

Okay, so I finally hit all 16 Hot Springs, and I got the Fundoshi Outfit! It’s pretty cool, though you can’t upgrade it at all. The big thing is, it has this neat effect: I sacrifice a little warmth, but when I’m running or sprinting, I don’t make any noise! Basically, the Fundoshi Outfit lets me run around completely silently, which is awesome for stealth.
