Okay, so Jinwoo is amazing in Solo Leveling Arise Overdrive, seriously! But even though he’s super strong, he can’t handle all those crazy monsters in the dungeons all by himself. A hero needs a good team, right? That’s why building up a crew with awesome abilities to help him in fights is so important – it’s all about recruitment!
As you progress in Solo Leveling Arise Overdrive, you’ll need to build a team of hunters with skills that work well together to conquer challenging dungeons. You won’t be able to recruit hunters right away, but this guide will show you how to do it and create a powerful team to defeat your enemies.
How to Recruit Hunters in Solo Leveling Arise Overdrive
In Solo Leveling Arise Overdrive, you can start recruiting hunters after you finish Chapter 2: Lizards. Once you’ve completed that chapter, you’ll meet Lim Hajin, who will guide you through the hunter recruitment process and help you build your team.
Once you click ‘Connect,’ you’ll see three potential hunter resumes. If you’re not happy with the options, you can discard them and new ones will appear in about 20 minutes.
If you want to hire a hunter from the list, just click on their name. You’ll then have two options for bringing them onto your team.
Recruit Hunters with Hunter Reports in Solo Leveling Arise Overdrive
This is a rare and valuable in-game currency that instantly adds a chosen hunter to your team. Players begin with two, but currently, there’s no way to earn more within the game.
Recruit Hunters with Hunter Coins in Solo Leveling Arise Overdrive
In Solo Leveling Arise Overdrive, Hunter Coins are the primary currency used to try and recruit new hunters. Offering more coins increases your chances of successfully adding a hunter to your team.
Think of this like a small game: you get three tries to make an offer to a hunter. You’ll see your chances of success displayed. If your offer isn’t accepted, you’ll get some Hunter Coins back, and your next offer will have a better chance of being accepted.
Players can switch between controlling Jinwoo and other hunters in the player hub (lobby) by pressing “C” on the keyboard, “LB” on Xbox controllers, or “L1” on PlayStation controllers.
