All Icewing Armor Locations in Crimson Desert

The Icewing set is a really cool outfit you can collect in Crimson Desert. Most of the pieces are hidden in places like behind waterfalls and inside caves, but you’ll earn the Armor and Cloak by completing specific quests.

We’ll detail where to find every piece of armor and explain the benefits you get when wearing a full set. It’s an impressive look, and completing the set can be challenging, so we want to make sure you know what you’re working towards.

Icewing Plate Helm Location in Crimson Desert

  • The Icewing Plate Helm can be found in the Cave of the Ancients, which is north of the river in Silver Wolf Mountain, Pailune.
  • Head to the north side of the river, which is north of the Ancient Rift and on the same line as the “P” in “Pailune”.
  • You’ll find a small cave with a metal wall blocking the path, and you can use Focus Force Palm (L3+R3+R3) to break the golden orb and enter the cave, which has the Treasure Chest.

You’ll get the Icewing Plate Helm after you beat Gwen Kraber, the boss at the Eldertree.

The Eldertree is north of the “D” in “Hernand”, marked on the map above.

Gwen Kraber will only become available after you’ve progressed far enough in the Hernand faction quests. Keep completing quests in Hernand and look for the quest, called ‘Frozen Eldertree’, under the ‘House Celeste’ tab to make her appear.

  • The Icewing Plate Cloak is obtained after completing all 15 Sanctums from the Witches questline.
  • Each witch will provide you with a Witch Token once the sanctums are cleansed.
  • Take the Witch Tokens to the Wayward Woods Witch’s Hideout, which is west between the “P” and “A” in “Pailune”.

  • The Icewing Plate Gloves can be found in the Claggy Chasm, which is a waterfall cave west of Longbranch in the Wayward Woods, Pailune.
  • Head to the furthest north region of Pailune to the Silver Wolf Mountain, where you will find the Longbranch village.
  • Head west of Longbranch to find a waterfall, and you can use Stab (R1+Triangle) to enter the waterfall and find a cave, which contains a Treasure Chest.

  • The Icewing Plate Boots can be found inside the Sanctum of Solace, which is below the “A” in “Pailune”.
  • Head to the Sanctum of Solace and look east towards the large tower when standing at the tree.
  • Climb the tower until you’re just underneath the pillars, and you will then want to hit R2 to cling to the wall, and then R3 to Force Palm.
  • This will spin the wall and allow you to enter a secret room, which contains a Treasure Chest.
