All Illusory Walls in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree

All Illusory Walls in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree

As a seasoned Elden Ring gamer with countless hours spent exploring its intricately designed world, I can confidently say that the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC has been one of the most thrilling experiences yet. The illusory walls, hidden barriers concealing valuable secrets and rewards, have added an extra layer of depth to my adventures.

In the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion of Elden Ring, similar to the main game, Illusory Walls hide many undiscovered treasures and rewards for perceptive players. By uncovering these camouflaged obstacles, you can unlock valuable items, gain access to expansive new territories, and experience exhilarating revelations.

Finding the exact spots for these hidden objects is quite a challenge since the game doesn’t give any clear indications. If you fail to discover their whereabouts, you might lose out on some amazing loot. However, don’t fret! Our guide provides comprehensive directions on how to identify and crack open every Illusory Wall in the DLC expansion.

Illusory Wall in Rabbath’s Rise

To reach the hidden Illusory Wall, make your way to the Church District Highroad, which lies above the Cathedral of Manus Metyr. Upon arrival, enter Rabbath’s Rise to the east. Take a left turn and climb the stairs. Look for two large crystals to your southwest; hit the wall between them to uncover the Illusory Wall and discover a balcony.

Standing before the balcony, I can’t help but notice the rocks within my reach. By gently tapping them, I believe I can unlock the hidden Spirit Spring outside this edifice. This rejuvenating spring holds the key to ascending the tower and, as a bonus, there’s an intriguing weapon waiting for me at the summit.

Illusory Walls in Shadow Keep

First Illusory Wall in Shadow Keep

Reaching the initial Illusory Wall in Shadow Keep involves fast-traveling to the Main Gate Plaza’s Site of Grace, which becomes accessible upon defeating the Golden Hippopotamus. Subsequently, take the right door and ascend the stairs. After reaching the top, make a right turn and proceed straight. Then, look for the ladder on your left and descend it to get there.

As a seasoned adventurer with years of exploration under my belt, I’ve encountered my fair share of hidden paths and illusory walls. Following these instructions, I make my way to the waterfall at the bottom of the room. With a sense of anticipation, I go through the cascade to my left, feeling the cool water spray against my face.

Second Illusory Wall in Shadow Keep

To access the second hidden wall in Shadow Keep’s Illusory Chamber, begin at the Storehouse on the first floor. Then, proceed to the left and move through the adjoining room. In front of you, there will be an elevator; utilize it to go down.

After going down, turn right at the first opportunity and proceed until the end. Then, make a left turn. You will encounter two paths: a narrow path that leads to a wall on the left and a stairway on the right. Choose the path to the left and strike the wall to uncover the Illusory Wall. Don’t forget to pick up the Battlefield Priest’s Cookbook from the corpse in front of you.

Illusory Walls in Manse Hall

First Illusory Wall in Manse Hall

In the Manse Hall, there are two deceptive walls. To get there, go through the Abyssal Woods first. After you’ve triggered the Manse Hall’s Site of Grace, turn your gaze to the large painting on your left. This is a disguised wall; hit it to reveal a hidden passage.

Second Illusory Wall in Manse Hall

Follow the new path until its end, where you’ll find a turn to the right. This will bring you to a hall. Upon entering, take the first left and search for a lever in the southwest corner of the room. Interact with it and locate the ladder on the northeastern side of the room. Climb up this ladder, then go west and find another ladder to your right. Ascend it to continue your journey.

To get to the Midra’s Library Site of Grace, tread carefully on the wooden floor, and you’ll find yourself in the adjoining room soon. Interact with this place, then make your way to the balcony before taking a right turn. After that, descend the ladder and enter the first chamber to your east. In this room, you’ll encounter a large painting to your south. Once more, hit the wall to uncover a hidden passage.

Illusory Wall in Ancient Ruins of Rauh

Fast travel to the Viaduct Minor Tower, located in the northwest corner of the DLC map. Once there, take the right path and continue straight until you see two lit braziers on your right. Head straight through them and take a right turn. Open the massive door in front of you and go down the staircase.

In the north-eastern part of the room, there are three lit braziers against the wall. To uncover an illusory wall hidden behind them, give the wall a tap between the left and middle braziers. Once revealed, discover a statue and don’t forget to pick up the Antiquity Scholar’s Cookbook [2] and any other items that might be nearby.

Illusory Wall in Lamentor’s Goal

Finding the elusive wall at Lamentor’s Goal is not an easy task and may go unnoticed by some players. Begin by making your way to the southwestern part of the map, where you’ll discover a hidden cave structure. You can access it through Charo’s Hidden Grave Site of Grace.

As I make my way into the dark and mysterious cave, my heart races with excitement, I keep moving forward until I encounter a locked door. Instead of going straight towards it, I opt for the path to my left. Following this path, I enter the second room on my right where I discover the Gaol Upper-Level Key. Making my way back to the locked door, I use the key to unlock it and carefully descend the stairs. From there, I continue north and then leap onto the giant footprints to my right, leading me to another room. As the floor beneath me gives way, I fall below and pick myself up, only to find a path to my right.

Go outsidemake your way towards the interior, and you’ll notice a door situated near a glowing brazier. But avoid stepping through it. Instead, hit the wall located to your south. The deceptive wall will then disappear, unveiling a locked door. Your subsequent objective is to delve deeper into the cave in search of the key for this door.
