In the game titled “The Wind Waker (Zelda)“, a band of mischievous children have been causing unrest among the inhabitants of Windfall Island. Particularly, their teacher, Mrs. Marie, has been greatly affected by their disruptive behavior. As you ascend to the island’s peak, these four kids will trail Link, seeming to provoke him and instigate confrontations. Speak with their teacher in her classroom, and you’ll be tasked with resolving the issues by confronting the ringleader, Ivan.

In the realm of The Wind Waker, as a devoted player myself, I’ll share an exciting encounter: Link will be presented with a test by none other than Ivan – a thrilling round of hide-and-seek featuring Killer Bees! If you manage to locate all these elusive Killer Bee hiding spots, your character will advance the quest, reap some rewards (like a coveted Heart Piece), and gain the power to bestow Joy Pendants upon Mrs. Marie, earning even more prizes.

Where To Find All Four Killer Bee Hide And Seek Locations

Killer Bee Location #1

The first Killer Bee you can find is close to the start point of the hide and seek minigame.

Near the ascending staircase heading towards the Auction House, pass through the arched doorway and take a left to locate Jan hiding behind some foliage.

Following the play of the cutscene, descend the cliff and employ your Attack roll to pursue Jan relentlessly until you manage to grab her.

Killer Bee Location #2

Once you’ve found Jan, make your way to the spot behind The Bomb Shop to uncover the second hidden location for the Killer Bees in their game of hide and seek.

Approach the store from its left side, then walk along the narrow edge to reach the back of the building. You’ll find Jin there. Jump off the ledge and pursue Jin to apprehend him when you encounter him.

In this version, I tried to maintain the original meaning while using simpler and more natural language.

Killer Bee Location #3

Following the discovery of the second Honeybee Metroid hidden behind the Explosives Store, make your way to the pier on Windfall Island. Then, approach the big tree (the one standing beside the old fellow who always notices when Link is around) and perform a roll into it.

Ivan, head of the Killer Bees, is going to leap from the tree’s peak. After the scene unfolds, give pursuit and manage to capture him as well.

Killer Bee Location #4

Behind the grave marker on the upper ledge of the overhang, you’ll discover the last Honeybee Warrior. It’s located near the secret hideout of the Lion King, the Red-Crowned one.

In the space opposite where you liberate Tingle, you’ll notice a woman dancing before a tombstone. Just stroll behind it, and you’ll encounter Jun. Pursue him, capture him to finish the Wind Waker Hide and Seek mini-game!

Wind Waker Hide & Seek Minigame Reward

To locate all the Killer Bees in The Wind Waker, players will be granted two benefits: a Heart Piece, and the capacity to progress both the Killer Bee and Mrs. Marie’s storylines. Once you obtain the Heart Piece, speak with Mrs. Marie, then revisit Ivan afterwards.

He’ll inform you that Mrs. Marie’s birthday is approaching, and she has a fondness for jewelry; coincidentally, he knows where to acquire a Joy Pendant on the island.

Adhere to Ivan’s guidance (specifically, look for the tree by the Bomb Shop), and hand over the Joy Pendant you discover to Mrs. Marie. Afterward, presenting Joy Pendants to Mrs. Marie at designated milestones will earn you unique rewards.
