In Yakuza Kiwami 3, Kiryu can befriend 100 different people. Building relationships with these characters not only deepens his connections within Japan—and might even annoy Majima—but also unlocks helpful rewards like phone accessories that give him special boosts.
Yakuza Kiwami 3 features 100 collectible characters hidden throughout Downtown Ryukyu and Kamurocho. Don’t worry, they aren’t too hard to find! We’ll show you where each ‘LaLaLa Friend’ is located, how to turn them into ‘LaLaLa Lovelies,’ and what you’ll earn for completing the collection.

How to Make Friends as Kiryu
In the first chapter, you’ll receive a flip phone. Using this phone, you can activate Search Mode by pressing L2, then target nearby characters with a heart and signal icon above their heads by pressing R2. This will add them as a LaLaLa Friend, starting their Wi-Fi meter at Level 1.
To evolve your LaLaLa Friends into LaLaLa Lovelies, you’ll need to reconnect with the same character after a certain amount of time. You need to do this three times to completely fill the signal meter and create a Lovely. While Lovelies reveal more about their stories, you only need 10 of them to get special rewards. However, to unlock all the rewards, you’ll need to collect 100 Friends.
Once you’ve befriended 35 characters, talk to Lala Aizawa at LaLaLa Mobile to get the Romance Amulet Strap. With that equipped, you’ll be able to easily locate the LaLaLa Friends on the map.
