All LiDAR Scanner Locations for ARC Raiders Eye in the Sky Quest

The “Eyes in the Sky” quest in ARC Raiders is a little trickier than previous ones. You need to place LIDAR Scanners on the highest points in three different areas, but the game doesn’t tell you where those spots are – you’ll have to find them yourself.

If you’ve explored the areas for the Eyes in the Sky quest, you probably have a general sense of where to go. This is typical for most quests in ARC Raiders, so if you’re stuck, this guide will help you figure things out.

ARC Raiders: Dam Battlegrounds LIDAR Scanner on the Control Tower

In the Dam Battlegrounds map, you can find the LIDAR Scanner on top of the Control Tower, which is located in the center of the map. Access the roof by using the zipline connected to the building – you’ll need to break open a door to get to it. While reaching the roof isn’t difficult, be careful of other players, as the Control Tower is a popular landing spot.

To get to the roof, use the entrance by the Red Lakes elevator. Go inside and take the elevator straight up. Be careful, though – turrets might be guarding the zipline to the roof, so check the area first. Once you’re on the roof, eliminate any robotic enemies, then find the tripod in the building’s east corner.

ARC Raiders: Buried City LIDAR Scanner on the Galleria Sign

As a player of ARC Raiders, I recently discovered a sign on the Galleria building in the Buried City. Just like the Control Tower, it’s a really popular spot, so be prepared to see a lot of other players hanging around when you go for it!

Okay, so I’m trying to get up to the roof, and it’s full of ARCs and maybe some raiders, so I’m being super sneaky. Once I made it, I headed for that support pillar with the big ‘G’ on it. The only way up is with a Zipline – thankfully, Shani gave me one, but you can also find or buy one if you need to. I aimed it at the ‘G’ and zipped right up, then dropped the LIDAR Scanner where it needed to go.

This task might not involve any combat, but we still suggest having a basic or inexpensive set of gear, including a Ferro shield, just in case you encounter ARCs.

ARC Raiders: Spaceport LIDAR Scanner on the Communications Tower

Okay, so for the final scanner, you need to go to the Spaceport. Then, head over to the Communications Tower – it’s on the east side of the map. This one’s pretty easy actually! You just need to climb the ladder to the top of the tower and place the LIDAR Scanner up there. That’s it!

While this location is easy to get to, climbing the tower leaves you very vulnerable. Expect to be targeted by other players or spotted by patrolling ARC bots. If you do get hit, quickly press your Sprint button to slide down the ladder for cover.

At the end of the quest, you’ll get the following:

  • Tagging Grenade: Tags enemies in its blast radius, marking them for you and your team.
  • Vita Spray: Continuously restores health when used.
  • Red Light Stick: Use to light up an area.
