All Megabonk Stats & What They Do

In Megabonk, simply pressing buttons won’t be enough to survive-you also need to understand how to develop your character with the best stats. Each attempt will challenge you with many enemies, and having well-balanced stats can significantly impact how battles play out. Certain stats will increase your health or defense, while others will improve your damage output, movement speed, or the amount of in-game currency you earn. This guide explains all the stats in Megabonk, helping you decide which ones to prioritize when leveling up.

All Stats in Megabonk, Explained

Stat Description
Max HP Your total health pool. This is how much damage you can take before your run ends. You can raise it with tomes, items, and upgrades.
HP Regen The natural rate at which you regain lost health. You can boost it with tomes and items.
Overheal A special stat that lets you gain extra health on top of your max HP. It acts like a buffer to help you survive harder hits
Shield This is a second health bar that absorbs damage before your HP takes a hit. Regenerates automatically after not taking hits for a short while.
Armor Blocks some of the incoming damage, reducing HP loss per hit. The more Armor you have, the less HP loss per hit.
Evasion This stat helps you completely dodge an attack. Even a heavy strike can deal no damage if evasion kicks in.
Lifesteal Heals you every time you deal damage to enemies. The more damage or hits you land, the more you heal.
Thorns This stat reflects damage back at enemies when they attack you. Perfect for tanky, defensive builds that like to let enemies come close.
Damage Your basic attack strength. Raising this stat makes all your weapons hit harder, which shortens fights and helps you keep enemy swarms under control.
Crit Chance The probability of scoring a critical hit. Higher crit chance means you’ll land bonus-damage strikes more often.
Crit Damage This is the multiplier applied to those critical hits.
Attack Speed This determines how quickly you attack. Faster attack speed means more hits and better crowd control.
Projectile Count Adds extra shots when you’re using ranged weapons.
Projectile Bounces Lets your projectiles bounce between enemies after hitting. This only applies to certain weapons.
Size Increases the physical size of your attack (blade swing, bullet, etc.) Bigger attacks are easier to land and can hit multiple enemies.
Projectile Speed Controls how fast projectiles travel once fired. Faster projectiles hit enemies quickly.
Duration Affects how long elemental effects (Freeze, Burn, Poison, etc.) last on enemies.
Damage to Elites Increases damage dealt to elite enemies (including stage bosses).
Knockback Determines how far enemies are pushed back when hit.
Movement Speed This is how quickly you can move around the map.
Extra Jumps Gives you extra mid-air jumps to help you escape.
Jump Height Increases how high you can jump, helping with maneuvering around enemies or hazards.
Luck Increases chances of rarer tomes, drops, and upgrades appearing. The higher the Luck, the better your overall loot quality.
Difficulty Raises the run difficulty but improves rewards.
Pickup Range Increases the distance at which XP and other pickups can be collected. This makes farming smoother.
XP Gain Increases how much XP you earn from each pickup. This lets you level up faster.
Gold Gain Increases how much Gold you earn in a run.
Silver Gain Increases how much Silver you earn in a run.
Elite Spawn Increase Increases the rate at which elite enemies appear in your run.
