All Minigames in Downtown Ryukyu in Yakuza Kiwami 3
Bad Boy Dragon
Once you’ve finished Chapter 2, you can unlock access to the Bad Boy Dragon Base by talking to the Haisai Girls near Chura Bar on Hatsumachi Street. This lets you join Rumble: Turf War, Rumble: Total Annihilation, and Baddies Battles – all team-based fights against lots of enemies.
Mahjong Camp
Near Chura Bar on Hatsumachi Street, there’s a set of stairs leading to the Mahjong Camp. To play Mahjong, you’ll need to pay with Yen, and the goal is to be the first player to complete a 14-tile hand.
Pool
You’ll find Aqua Sky on the corner of Inari Street and Hatsumachi. Take the elevator upstairs, and head north to reach the Pool Receptionist. There, you can choose to play standard games like Nine-Ball, Rotation, Eight-Ball, or Four-Ball, or try the 1-Shot Challenge.
Darts
You’ll find Aqua Sky on the corner of Inari Street in Hatsumachi. Head inside and take the elevator upstairs. When you exit, turn right to find the dartboards. Games cost 200 Yen each, and you can choose from different darts to help improve your play. You can play Standard Cricket, Center Count-Up, or Count-Up, either by yourself or with friends.
Karokekan
Head north on N Kubochi Rd. to find the Karokekan. It costs 1,000 Yen per person to play, and you’ll get to try seven songs, aiming for the highest score by hitting the controller buttons in time with the music. This is where you can unlock the chance for Kiryu to sing Baka Mitai!
Print Club
You can have fun taking quirky photos at Print Club, located right outside the Haisaikan Gift Shop on W Ryukyu Blvd. It lets you add filters, backgrounds, and fun little images to your pictures, whether you’re with friends or snapping a solo shot.
Heaven’s Golf
Head southeast on E Ryukyu Blvd. to find the Ryukyugai Dance School. Take the elevator inside to reach Heaven’s Golf, where you can start playing after talking to the Gold Shop Receptionist. You can choose between two games – Closest to the Pin and Bingo Challenge – both costing 1,000 Yen to play.
Gambling Hall
If you’re in Arcade Alley and facing south, you’ll find the Gambling Hall. Before you can play, you need to trade Yen for Wooden Tags at the exchange counter near the entrance. Once you have those, you can try your luck at games like koi-koi, oicho-kabu, cee-lo, and cho-han. Each game has three difficulty levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Expert.
Casino
You can find the Casino down the Arcade Rear Alley. It offers Blackjack, Poker, Roulette, and Baccarat at different betting levels – Low, High, and VIP. To play, you’ll need to exchange Yen for chips with the Casino Employee located in the middle of the room.
All Minigames at Morning Glory in Yakuza Kiwami 3
Fishing
You can play the Fishing minigame by using the harpoon and bucket located on the eastern end of the beach, near Morning Glory. You’ll need Bait to fish, and any fish you catch can be used to cook recipes or sold at the Morning Glory General Store.
Bug Catching Competition
You can start the Bug Catching Competition by using the bug net located west of the orphanage, right next to the dog. The competition has a hidden story where you aim to win against all the other children. Any bugs you catch can then be sold at the Morning Glory General Store.
Dragon Reversi
You can find the challenging board game Dragon Reversi on the east side table, near the Morning Glory Orphanage and just before you reach the Bulletin Board.
Homework
The homework minigame lets kids strengthen their relationship with Kiryu by completing assignments covering various subjects. You can find it in the first room on the right when you enter the Morning Glory Orphanage.
Sewing
Sewing is a fun activity that helps Kiryu build a stronger bond with children and improve his Daddy Rank. You can also sell the items you sew at the Morning Glory General Store, which is just to the left when you enter the Morning Glory Orphanage.
Cooking
At the Morning Glory Kitchen, you can play a cooking game where you use ingredients and recipes you’ve learned to create dishes. Each recipe involves its own set of fun, quick challenges, like cracking eggs, cooking meat, whisking ingredients, and chopping vegetables.
Game Gear
You’ll find a Game Gear in Kiryu’s room that lets you play classic SEGA games. It comes with PAC-Man, Columns, and Sonic Chaos already installed, and you can purchase more games at the Ebisu Pawn shop in Downtown Ryukyu.
All Minigames in Kamurocho in Yakuza Kiwami 3
Bad Boy Dragon
Once you finish the “Bad Boy Dragon” storyline and reach “Total Annihilation: Okinawa’s Last Stand,” the Haisai Girls will establish a base in Kamurocho. You can find it on W Showa St., right near the entrance to Tenkaichi St. It offers the same kinds of activities as before, and continues the story from “Bad Boy Dragon.”
Club SEGA Arcade Machines
In Theater Square, there’s a large, red Club SEGA building. Inside, you’ll find tons of classic SEGA arcade games, such as:
- SlashOut
- Blast City
- Virtua Fighter 2.1
- Virtua Fighter 2
- Fighting Vipers
- Emergency Call Ambulance
- Motor Raid
- Magical Truck Adventure
You can start the minigame by selecting the Options button and exiting via the Touchpad.
UFO Catcher
If you head to Theater Square and go inside Club SEGA, you absolutely have to check out the UFO Catchers! Basically, you put in some money and try to grab adorable SEGA characters – like those from Monkey Ball – and other cute plushies with a little claw. It’s surprisingly addictive!
Print Club
Club SEGA, located in Theater Square, features a fun Photo Booth with special backgrounds inspired by the Kamurocho area.
Karaokekan
Karaokekan, located on Nakamichi Street in the northeast area, is a karaoke building where you can sing by yourself or with a group. It features the same song selection as the Downtown Ryukyu location.
Lullaby Mahjong
To find Lullaby Mahjong, head to Tenkaichi Street and look for the “Sexy Club Love Bunny” building on the east side. You can reach the mahjong parlor by either taking the elevator or the stairs. The gameplay is similar to what you’d find in Downtown Ryukyu, but the stakes are higher, with bets going up to 50,000 Yen.
Bowling
You can find Mach Bowl on Theater Alley. It’s a bowling alley where you can play with different rules – choose from 3, 5, or 10 frames, or even play solo or with friends for a split game.
Baseball
Head to the Hotel District to find the Yoshida Batting Center. For 300 Yen, you can test your skills on one of three courses: the Challenge Course, the Home Run Course, or the Home Run Competition, where you’ll try to hit fastballs into a designated area.
Darts
You can find darts at Bantam Traditional Irish Pub, located on E Millennium Tower St. Just walk in and tap the dartboard in the left corner to start playing – the game works the same way as in Downtown Ryukyu.
Pool
Kiss Shot Billiards & Bar is located on E Shichifuku Street, right before you reach Park Boulevard. They have a pool table available, and the game is played with the same rules as at Downtown Ryukyu.
Gambling Hall
Starting with Chapter 4, you can find a character who starts Substory #19, “Retake the Dragon Palace,” by going through the intersection on Park Blvd. Once you finish this substory, the Dragon Palace will be accessible in the Hotel District, located above the Ikinari Steak building. Inside the Dragon Palace, you’ll find a Gambling Hall with games like koi-koi, oicho-kabu, cee-lo, and cho-han.
Shogi
I found this Shogi Player hiding in the southeast alleyways of the Champion District. You can play in a bunch of different ways – Ranked matches to climb the ladder, Challenge matches against specific opponents, or even just solve puzzles. There are tons of players to battle, so there’s always someone to test your skills against!
Coliseum
Okay, so in Chapter 8, I found out how to get to Purgatory – you just go through the north entrance of West Park! And honestly, the best part is the Coliseum. It’s like, a cage fighting thing where you battle your way up against increasingly difficult opponents. It’s super cool!
Fukuma (Casino)
Starting in Chapter 8, you can enter Purgatory through an entrance located in West Park. Inside, you’ll find the Fukuma building, a casino offering games like Baccarat, Blackjack, Poker, and Roulette.
