While Mega Evolutions are fun, many players love catching Mythical and Legendary Pokémon in each game. However, Pokémon Legends: Z-A doesn’t offer many of these rare Pokémon – only three are available to catch when the game first releases.

For fans of the series, there’s good news: the game’s files already contain data for two more Legendary Pokémon, and many more are expected to appear with the Mega Dimension DLC in early 2026. How to Get Xerneas in Pokemon Legends: Z-A

You can catch Xerneas while completing the post-game mission, “The One That Gives.” First, you’ll need to either catch or defeat three Alpha Pokémon. Once you’ve done that, Xerneas will appear in the Wild Area’s Zone 11.

How to Get Yveltal in Pokemon Legends: Z-A

You can catch Yveltal after completing the main story in the “The One That Takes” mission. First, you’ll need to battle and win against three powerful Rogue Mega Evolutions in a simulation. Once you do, Yveltal will appear on the roof of Galerie de la Lune in Rouge Sector 2.

How to Get Zygarde in Pokemon Legends: Z-A

You can obtain Zygarde by completing the Main Mission “To Keep the World in Balance.” This mission unlocks after you finish “The One That Gives” and “The One That Takes.” First, you’ll need to defeat L. Then, you must battle and catch Zygarde in its 10%, 50%, and complete forms.
